I really like the variety of settings for warmth and time. Clawdia loves her new blankie. I did wrap it in a plush lap blanket from Walmart. The cover was a tad thin for my spoilt princess. It is great value for money. The functionality is superb.

The pad is nice sized and soft/flexible. I am using it to heat an enclosed area for a cat. When I searched I asked for "outdoor" heated pads. This pad says for indoor use only. This pad requires you to turn it on each day to set the hours to be on and the temperature. I find this a nuisance, but I'm making due. It works well and I do like the temperature adjustment feature. The other pad I'm using has one heat setting and turns on when you plug it in.

I ordered the extra large and it is huge, which I needed. The temperature is adjustable and I started at 100° for feral cats in a shed, which is recommended. One cat tried it a few times but kept leaving it. One cat snuggled in but then kept flopping around like he was uncomfortable. I felt under a blanket and the temp was way too hot. I am down to 85° and will watch, and may go lower. This is why it is very important if you have a heating pad, to give the animal room to be off the pad or half on and half off, if in a cat bed or shelter box. My other heating pads are pre-set at a 100° and seem to be fine. I think this one runs really hot and you need to use care to get it set properly! BTW, you can leave it on despite reviews that say it stays on a maximum of 24 hours. The 25th setting is "on."

We are having a cold snap here in Florida, and the house is chilly during the day and even colder at night. I bought this large heated blanket for my big boy cat to keep him comfortable in the evening and through the night when the temps fall. He loves it, so I love it, too.You can adjust the temperatures from 80 to 120° and you can set the timer for 4 to 12 hours. I love that.It's waterproof with a removable, washable cover. What more could you ask for?

My dog loves to bake herself in sunny spots outside, probably because she's getting arthritis at 12 years old. As it's gotten colder, letting her sunbathe outside is not an option, so I bought this heating pad. It took a bit for her to come around to it, being lured with treats to discover it emenates soothing warmth. When I put it in her favorite spot next to our couch, she's become a heating pad convert. She's always on it during the day, curled up and cozy. I like that I can remove the cover to wash it. It is set to a comfortable temperature and I only have to turn it on once and its default is 12 hours. Very pleased with this item, and my dog is too!

Most of the electric animal blankets/bed/bed pads that I have purchased over the years don't have a 24-hour time option like this Gasur pet heating blanket. As we are on a farm, we get quite a few feral cats; the mama's have regular litters. We cannot do anything about that; however, we can offer a warm place during the extreme cold temperatures. This Gasur offers not only options to set the timer from 1–24-hour periods but also allows a variety of temperature settings. It is a perfect size, and I like the thickness of the heating pad cover. The heating pad cover removes easily for cleaning. The feral cats do a wonderful job of keeping out property pretty much rat/mouse/critter free. This heating pad is our way of giving back for round-the-clock pest control. We are going to be purchasing more, now that we know how good the quality and features on this pad are.
