It saved us from having a another accident with my italian coffee kettle, spilling boiling stuff all over the place, from being too narrow for stupid gas stove grills. It was a great addition. BTW who designs these gas stoves like that?

Nice, fairly large metal diffuser that I’m using to keep a small moka pot stable on my gas range. My only quibble is that it doesn’t sit completely flat because of my stove’s square grill design . It does the trick, though, and nothing has toppled over yet. Also, it’s useful for propping up bell peppers while roasting over an open burner flame, for lowering pot temperature when cooking something delicate, and it’s a handy trivet that protects the table if you are serving a dish directly from your cast iron Dutch oven. It’s too early to know if it will eventually rust, but so far I’m pleased with it.

Helps to place containers smaller than the stove's own burner guards. But if your stove top has only 3 supporters then this may not work as it just rests on the existing supporters and this one has 4 notches.

The slots to make sure the reducer sits securely are not wide enough to fit majority of stove tops. Disappointing and dangerous.

I was not able to fix it in a six-point burner but if you flip it, there's a point where could be used.
