Coating arrived flaking off, shelves are bent so when put together some openings are skinnier while others are wider. Disappointed in quality.

The rack's metal frame and locking wheels are sturdy and I don't have any concerns when I need to wheel it to a different spot. The shelf racks hook in to slots in the back but they have to be titled up first and then lowered into the slot so that it's secure--which is fine but requires planning if you want to adjust as needed to leave a few shelves out for wider art frames. It's not meant for heavy items, but I am comfortable that it is stable.And more space for more art is always a good thing!

The Garvin Art Drying Rack is absolutely amazing for classrooms and art spaces that don't have much spare room. It has a surprisingly small footprint for a drying rack, taking up about half the space as my other drying rack, yet the 36 shelves hold a decent amount of weight, which makes it equally as useful as the larger racks. It is taller than my other racks at 56 inches, but it's a lot easier for me to sacrifice lateral space than floor space.Quality of the materials and construction is solid. I didn't find any flaws or defects, and I love the locking caster wheels. They move smoothly when not locked and stay put when they are.Assembly was also a breeze. All the hardware and tools for assembly were included, and I was able to put it together in less than fifteen minutes and found nothing confusing or difficult to manage.I have zero complaints or negative comments about this rack. It's exactly what I needed.

When I ordered this I had future big art events with lots of kids in mind but when I got it together it became so useful. My son had several stacks of art work for the past year that we need to go through to give art work as Christmas gifts for the family. This rack made it so easy to organize and see what he had.Assembly was a little tricky. When putting together you will need to apply pressure pushing the sides in to lock in place then screw everything together. At first I thought it was a bad design up after using the pressure trick they fit great and even if a screw came loose I don't think it would fall apart because its under a little pressure.It took me about 15 min to put this together and easy to roll into place.The weight that each shelf holds is adequate for just about any art project. We put some fairly heavy pieces and they had no issues, it did flex down a little but nothing to worry about.As a Homeschool mom I wish I had gotten one years ago it would have made life so much easier and more organized!

The only thing I didn’t like is that it is unbalanced. When I first started to wheel it into position, it threatened to topple forward. We decided to use a small hook and some fishing line to secure it in place against the wall so that no accidents would occur if kids were a bit careless when storing their projects. Otherwise, this item was perfect for our art room. It’s a great solution for organizing artwork.
