The wiring harness comes bent a certain way that you need to rebend to match the original battery in order for there to be enough length to get it plugged in. Also note, that it's possible for the connector to come loose during reassembly resulting in the collar powering up but not charging (blinking red LED).The other thing to keep in mind is that the capacity of this battery is higher than an OEM battery so the battery fuel gauge on the Astro or Alpha won't read correctly.

Seems to be a good product. Charged battery up and tried it out. Set collar to update every 5 seconds. After 30 hours my alph still showed i had 2 bars on my tt15 collar. Called it good.

I ordered the battery for a Garmin TT15 dog collar. The install went smoothly until I started putting the device back together. After placing the battery back in the compartment, I noticed that the top wires on the battery in the first photo were really short. After a closer look I found that the wires on the new battery were directed towards the bottom of the battery (See second photo) and the old battery were directed towards the top of the battery (See third photo). I was able to get the wires attached properly in the socket by twisting the wires to the side and upward. The battery had a label on it saying it needed to be charged for six hours before use but when I put it on a charger it showed fully charged. I have only had the battery for a few days and it has been trouble free.
