15 & 40-Cell
15 & 40 cell trays are suitable quantity to meet different growing needs. They are a good balance between space for growing and seedlings per tray.
40-Cell
Each cell is 1.4" square which makes them a great option for a large variety of plants. These are also a good choice for the vine plants, however you will want to transplant the vine plants earlier than you would with the 15 cell trays.
Recommended Plants: Early Season Peppers, Early Season Vine Crops, Early Season Cole Crops such as Cabbage, Kale, Mustard, Kohlrabi, Broccoli, Brussels.
15-Cell
Each cell is 2.25"x2.25" giving your seedings plenty of room to grow. They are great for plants that are more prone to transplant shock such as cucumbers, melons, squash and pumpkins. These cell trays will encourage faster growth as there is more access to nutrients and plenty of space.
Recommended Plants: Early Season Tomatoes, Flowers, Cucumbers, Melons, Squash, Pumpkin and Other Vine Crops.

These are Great!! Very Durable as most other comments and videos say. I'll be purchasing another batch for sure. Super cheap on the price, good deal. Self sufficient for the gardening peeps!! Great way to start with these.

I am very happy with my purchase! I was worried that the plastic would be cheap and flimsy, but it’s not! The bottom part is pretty thick and can’t be deformed without really using pressure. They can domes are sturdy enough for the set. The reason I took one star off is because the dome should have a little more height. You couldn’t keep your seedlings in there for a longer period of time because of this. I would prefer for my seedlings stay in this container for a longer period of time, but the height prevents this. I appreciated the tools that were included because they come in handy. I also liked that there were 2 dials on the dome to control the humidity. I probably wouldn’t buy it again despite the many positives because of the dome height.

These seed starting trays are MUCH better quality than anything I was seeing in stores. The plastic top is very durable and should last multiple years. I love being able to control the humidity. And the quantity of trays for the price is a great value. Have only used for a week but am very pleased so far!

Decided not to waste time or money this year and just go with something tried and true. These are easy to fill, lightweight, durable and have a good drainage system. You can reuse any leftover water that does not get absorbed by the roots because it is caught by the bottom tray. Very little waste here, no material goes unused and it is great for smaller spaces.The lids not snapping onto the bases is not a con for me, it is actually better for airflow to not have it latch on all the way. I love this design and how simple they are for seed starting.

Good size and sturdy plastic that can be reused for many years! The vented top helps regulate humidity which is essential for germination. I will be ordering more of this product.

I'm taking a moment to review because this is a really high quality product for the price. Love the bottom watering tray and nice, heavy plastic cells and top. This will surely last me multiple growing seasons, unlike so many of the humidity dome seed starter trays out there. Also love the humidity control spinners on the top and the cute little tools that come with it. From an experienced gardener, 10/10 would recommend.

I would have given five stars but the cell trays aren’t transparent so you can check for root growth.

I live in Spokane Washington and I got this last year before they had the vents on the lids. It worked very well. The issue was once I had all my seeds sprouted and planted in the ground I stored them in my backyard shed to use this spring. When I got them out I discovered that they were warped as if melted and was curious as to what caused it. So I put them in the small greenhouse I just got and noticed that until I put dirt in them they continue to warp day after day shrinking to some degree. This continued until I put dirt in them. The only conclusion I have is that because my shed got warm that caused them to all start warping I doubt I will be able to use them next year. This is a good product but it is not built to last in a warm storage area wherever you store it it must be cool.

I found that a lot of products didn't have the dome, the tray and the cells sold as a unit. It was hard for me to find the perfect setup. This has all three and it comes with two little planting tools for your seedlings.
