This is an affordable lawn trimmer that can get the job done, but assembly can be a challenge because outside of installing the blade housing, you get no instructions on the assembly of the trimmer and comes down to trial and error about what, where, and when you attach something. The power supply is probably the biggest issue. It takes 2-3 hours to amass a full charge, but is only good for 30 minutes of use. If you have a big job, this can be an issue.

I love this trimmer. No more string that you have to keep purchasing or dragging around an electric cord. The blades are genius. It is light weight too. Haven't used the plastic weed ones, they seem to flimsy.

This is such a good buy for your money. It is a powerful tool. I have been using it to cutdown some very large 3 foot tall weeds in an empty horse property. It works amazingly well with the metal blades attached. It just powers through thick weeds and brush. By the time the battery wears out I'm pretty tired and ready for a break. This little battery can run for 45 minutes of heavy shrub cutting. It is very lightweight so I was concerned it wouldn't work so well but it does a great job. It's very easy to use. There is a button in the side of the handle you have to push in to start. Once you have the handle pressed down you can let go of the button on the side. Because it is compact and lightweight it is easy to maneuver it around items. Just a great lightweight powerhouse!

I got this wheedwhacker just to do a little bit of the front of my apartment, and since it was insanely lower in price compared to other electronic weed whackers, I figured I’d take a chance but didn’t expect much.Well, was I surprised. The assembly was easy, the only con is the charger dongle is kind of hard to stick in the battery, it seems it may not be exactly the correct size but either way I did get it to charge halfway pushed in.After setting it all up (took less than 5 minutes). I tried it, first with the plastic blade attachment. It worked great for smaller weeds and grass but did struggle a bit with thicker taller weeds/grass. So I then decided to try the metal blade. Amazing! Cleared everything in seconds.I also had a little piece of a tree branch annoyingly hitting my bedroom window whenever there is any wind, so I figured why not try the saw blade attachment. Trimmed the tip of the brand in seconds - no more noise now!All in all, this may not be a great tool for heavy duty landscapers or people with large properties, However if you are on a budget and just want around your house looking neat and tidy, for this price, you won’t find anything better. I highly recommend!

This is my 3rd purchase, not because it doesn't work, I tightened the nut crocked on one & the other one I did something wrong with the cap when putting it together. I figured if I got another GardenJoy I'd have three batteries so I could weed wack longer. This one has the same size & shape but it has prongs on the bottom & my other ones were flat. The instruction booklet with this one was different too. My other ones had better instructions, more detail. I would advise caution when assembling so the screw/nut don't 'freeze' together. I am older with a bad back, I ask my neighbor if he could get it apart and he said the screw was stripped.

I would give 5 stars. Especially for the price it is a powerful weed whacker and trimmer. Pretty easy to put together. The battery is fast and easy to charge, and it holds a fair charge for the work. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is the extras (gloves and safety glasses) are cheap. But the machine itself is great!

A Thrilling Addition to My Ordinary Gardening Routine!**Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (5 Stars for Excitement, -1 Star for Near-Death Experiences)**If you're someone who has grown weary of the mundane, day-in-day-out predictability of life, boy do I have a recommendation for you! Introducing the "Excalibur 3000" (not its real name, but the moniker I've affectionately bestowed upon this gallant steed of a weed whacker). It's not just a tool; it's an adventure waiting to happen.Upon purchasing this beast, I thought I was merely upgrading my gardening arsenal. Little did I know, I was enlisting for the most heart-pounding experience my backyard has ever seen. The product promises efficiency and power, and, well, it delivers... with the slight possibility of turning your weeding session into a scene reminiscent of an action movie.During my first use, I was nearly impaled—not once, but TWICE—by circular saw blades that decided they had places to be other than attached to the weed whacker. I initially suspected user error, so I carefully readjusted and realigned everything according to the manual, which, in hindsight, should probably be rewritten as an adventure novel.Following my adjustments, I braced myself and attempted a second go. Ah, what a thrill! With blades spinning and adrenaline pumping, I realized that gardening could indeed be a blood sport (fortunately, metaphorically speaking). This device has not only spiced up my mornings but also significantly improved my agility and reflexes. I've taken to wearing a full suit of medieval armor for protection, turning an ordinary gardening task into a quest of valor. My neighbors watch in awe (concern?), whispering tales of my bravery (or insanity?) across the land (suburb). In conclusion, this is not just a weed whacker; it's a lifestyle. It's perfect for thrill-seekers, adrenaline junkies, and anyone looking to add a dash of danger to their domestic chores. If standing toe-to-toe with vegetation in mortal combat excites you, then look no further.Remember, safety gear is not just recommended, it's a must. Unless, of course, you possess the agility of a ninja and reflexes of a cat, which thanks to this product, I'm proud to say I'm well on my way.**Verdict: Buy it if you dare! Your heart (and lawn) will never be the same.***Disclaimer: Always use landscaping and gardening tools responsibly and according to the manufacturer's safety guidelines.*

This thing is cheap, and it lives up or down to that price point. It works, more or less, with the plastic blades that constantly break as if their business model is to sell more of those plastic blades. But honestly, it's exactly what it positions itself as, no more no less. It's a really cheap rechargeable weed wacker, so as long as you keep your expectations reasonable for that, you get what you pay for with this.
