Got great deal on Black Friday/ cyber Monday. First battery powered weed wacker. Have always been a Stihl/ Husquavarna customer of their gas weed wackers/ blowers/ chain saws. I’m pleasantly surprised by how powerful yet lightweight this product is. Kicks ass!

I purchased this item and used it once. When I tried to recharge the battery I found that it would not charge. I took the battery to a dealer to see if they could charge it. The battery was the issue. The charger was working fine and charged other batteries but this battery was faulty and would not recharge. I would not recommend this item to anyone.

Great little weedeater. Has plenty of juice to finish a 1 acre property. Battery charges in a few hours. I can't compare to gas, has less power even at fully charged Battery. And when Battery runs low it limits the top end even with turbo mode on. But great features, reverse turn and light weight. Would recommend for the average homeowner.

I have 1.25 Acre lot and got tired of pulling the starter on my Homelite gas powered weed eater and wondering if it would start. I bought this hoping it would have more power than the garbage Black and Decker battery powered one I also have. All I can say is Wow! This thing has a ton of power. Regular mode is fine for most grass, but when you get into the high weeds, just press the turbo button and it tears it up. The string feed is also very nice and works exceptionally well.

The trimmer is easy to assemble, but the battery is dated 2022. It is November 2024 and the power seems to be quickly drained. I believe that the battery is the problem because of the battery age. Otherwise the trimmer works great. I would expect a new 2024 battery to be included with the trimmer at the very least.

I’ve used this about 5-6 times now and So far this is working out really well. I tried another brand from box giant and returned after one use. It was noisy and off balanced. The Husky is better balanced and MUCH quieter by comparison. I’m in a residential home with moderate amounts of trimming and this works great for that. Variable speed trigger lets me slow it down in tight spots and trimming up against hard stuff and super quiet in that half speed mode. Full speed still surprisingly quiet has plenty of power for average stuff. I’m sure battery usage will diminish over time but so far I’m able to do about an hour of trimming on what appears to be about 50% battery use. I consider this one a keeper

Spoiler, I have only used the trimmer for 10 minutes and am deciding whether to keep it or not. The trimmer itself is decent, seems to have good power, and If the reviews are real the battery life should be good, but Husqvarna chooses not to provide details about battery size and performance like every other battery supplier on the planet does (albeit many of them are dishonest). The pole from the top to the head is a bit floppy/loose, and in 10 minutes of trimming, I had to disassemble the head (which can be done easily without tools) 3 times and manually extract more of the weak string provided with the unit. Try as I might, spinning either direction, I could only get the unit to feed one time. This would be less of a problem if the string was durable, but that I received is not. Husqvarna just dropped down a couple notched in my book of quality companies (they were near the top). Amazon offered me $50 to keep it so If I can get the pole tightened up I will install an aftermarket trimmer head and keep it. I will come back in a day or two and update this review with the results.>. Still only 4 stars because the head it ships with is junk.
