I used them for gardening and pruning is a breeze. Very sharp and can handle 1/4” branches easy peezy.It does lock itself every now and then while using them which is annoying but still the are great set to have in your gardening tool box.I recommend these clippers.

For the price, at about 2 dollars per tool, I wasn't expecting much. Each tool is great to have and works great for light duty work. They're sharp and can cut through some thick branches.Downside is the tang in the handle doesn't run to the end. For 2 dollars each I didn't expect it to, but I did manage to break the handle of the yellow pruning shear cutting through a 1 inch branch. It made it through quite a bit before that though. Some glue and it's back to normal, but worth mentioning.

Overall, i'm very happy with these; they do not feel cheap in your hand and the blades are really sharp; just be sure to hold onto them. They cut great when i used them today. Given their price, i was expecting them to be junk; but they are not.These are light duty to medium duty pruners and i feel comfortable using them to cut up to 1/4" items. they are a little small for my hands, but i am used to using the full size type pruner that can cut up to 5/8", so it's not an exact comparison. I will use these to trim the shoots from my basil, Culantro, and around my other potted plants. I used the skinniest bladed one of the 3 and it worked very well in all 3 areas. I did find that it slipped out of my hand twice, probably because i'm used to a larger and heavier pruner. Know that the hard plastic handle on these really has no 'grip effect'. So, next time, i'll try wearing some lightweight rubberized garden gloves to see if that helps hold onto them. if that doesn't work, i'll try spraying some plasti-dip rubberized on the handles.

I was not sure what to expect due to the low price but was pleasantly surprised to receive a great quality product! All 3 pieces have safety locks, lightweight, easy for a smaller hand and are quite sharp. My purpose is for home veggie gardening in a very large garden. With arthritis in my thumbs these tools are easy to squeeze-easier than scissors. They are full size tools just not bulky or heavy. At this point I would definitely purchase them again.

These have taken my gardening up a notch! My houseplants have been thanking me for these! I just love the! Can't wait for the spring to come back around! Quality is absolutely amazing! I love that you can lock them closed, and I love how sturdy but lightweight they are!

Very sharp. The fit in my arthritic fingers was good and not too painful. I’ve cut a few stems on an angle and snipped a few leaves. Works well and seems durable. They will get a lot of use.
