Overall this splitter is well manufactured, of solid brass and has handles to turning on/off. The handles are a bit stiff, but loosen with use.The threads are well cut, and we didn’t need to use plumber’s tape. The flow to both sides is even, with decent pressure. No leaking so far.Overall pleased.

This hose splitter works very well. First off, I was surprised by the solid weight of the device. It is not constructed of cheap pot metal, rather, it appears to be a heavy casting of brass. Please note that I am no metallurgist. My observation is based on a few decades of life experience. 😊The two valves of the ‘splitter’ faucets work as they should and do not allow any leaking when turned off.Overall, I recommend this quality product for its intended use.Blessings 😊

We added an outdoor sink to wash hands and fill pots. It's been nice, but we used our regular Y shaped hose splitter to attach the hose, but were looking for something a bit more substatial. This has a solid build and plenty of space to add attachments like a timer. It includes an extra hose washer, a very nice touch. I thought it was interesting that the handles turn both the same direction to turn on. It looks nice, seems well built but will require extra protection during freezes since it doesn't fit under the Styrofoam freeze protector that we use for outdoor spigots.

This Opermaxer brand garden hose water splitter allows you to connect two hoses or water lines to one spout, which is especially useful if you connect soaker hoses for a garden but also want to keep a spray nozzle on a garden hose for other uses. The solid brass construction should allow it to last for many years even in harsh conditions including direct sunlight and its sturdy construction should make it easily handle higher water pressures. While it was no problem for me, the valves twist with a nice firm push and then glide smoothly but I believe that with use they may become easier to operate. The manufacturer claims this design offers 25% more water flow than their previous design. I am impressed with the sturdy construction of this hose splitter and expect it to last a very long time.

Looks to be plenty of flow on the faucet side connection inlet as it uses a 1/2” inside diameter bore. Past the two valves the restriction becomes smaller at about 3/8”. I will need to see if that truly increases flow. It looks like it is a well manufactured unit and comes with an extra washer.

There are never enough outlets for all the garden hoses. I like to have one hose going to the left and the other to the right and leave them there so that I don't have to hustle the heavy hose back and forth. Now I have this splitter on the faucet and connect two hoses, and both can stay where they are.

We have constant watering and hose issues every year with the layout of our backyard and plants scattered around. In the heat of summer, both of us often need to water separate halves of the yard to get the job done in a reasonable amount of time. This brass splitter should hopefully be a much better system than we've had in place the past few summers, and definitely appears to be heavy duty and solidly built (as shown in my photos). It was 'approved' by my husband after showing it to him after it arrived, lol, so that is always a good sign that perhaps we may have found something to last a very long time (especially given that our city water-fed outside spigots always have more pressure than our hoses can typically handle. The only thing I noticed so far in my up-close trial is that the valves were a bit tight for me to open or close, and that they might require a slight additional finger tightening to prevent drips. Perhaps it's just my lack of finger strength, though, but we'll be able to test the whole process once our freezing temps are over and we can begin using the hoses again.

I've gone through a few inexpensive hose splitters, and no surprise, it was time again. The plastic ones work until they don't, and you also have to bring them indoors when the cold weather arrives. My neighbor has had a solid brass hose splitter like this one made by OPERMAXER for quite some time, and has never had a problem. You can see it's as tough and sturdy as the outside faucet it will be connected to.The handle levers are a nice size and it should be easy to set the water flow just as you'd like. Here's a tip - If you're hooking up to a water timer that tops off a fountain or pond on scheduled times, there's no need to have that timer deal with the full house water pressure when it can easily be limited and adjusted down. I learned that the hard way. You can see how this one was shipped, and they even included an extra washer.
