Its a time saver they leak but with a little bit of teflon tape go down exponentially. Recommend this for the day to day hose connections.

Works as advertised and they are a quality product. My only complaint is minor, but it would be nice if the splines on the release collar had splines running around the collar instead of being parallel with the hose. Those existing splines don't help in pulling down on the collar with wet hands -- they make it somewhat more slippery and thus harder to release the hose or attachment. Rubber gloves solve the problem.

Well, I guess I’m just the unlucky one here with all these five-star reviews. Quick connectors, sure enough, but when you uncouple the male end from the female there no shut off at the female end point, (like other quick connects I have had). The water just keeps making a mess and who wants to run a hundred feet to turn off the water, just to change a tool. Not so “quick” to me. Maybe they should have made that distinction in their ad, that the female end does not stop the water when the male is removed. NO QUICK CONNECT UNLESS YOU’RE WEARING SWIM SHORTSScrewed them in an tighten the connections, water sprayed every ware, not so leak proof after all. It took a significant amount of Teflon Tape on the hose threads to stop the leaking.Yes I had the sizes correct.There going back!
