Appears to be good quality. Using it on a fresh water engine flush inside a boat. It does not leak. Would recommend.

I am trying to get quick connects on all my hoses, my hands don't work as well as they used to, and tried some cheap plastic ones that didn't work well at all. These have worked flawlessly so far, but I have only been using them for a week. Time will tell how good they really are.

Went with this since it advertises ease of removal, and my 71 year old mother uses the garden hose, but didnt like disconnecting the sprayer.She has bad rheumatoid arthritis in her thumbs, so it needed to be easy. (she has to use pliers to open a twist-off beer/peel off a seal on a new bottle of ketchup)This one works for her!I wouldn't quite consider it one-handed, but almost. It doesnt cinch as hard as others I've tried. It does restrict flow, like from a 3/4 hose down to maybe 5/8 -- I didn't measure. Oh and it's rated for 200 psi -- says it can't be used with a pressure washer (likely because of diameter reduction impeding flow volume).With all that said, it's not as sturdy as others, and it does have an O-ring that will need tending with silicone paste/dielectric grease for you gear heads. You don't want to be dropping it in the dirt or on the sidewalk on the regular. Only 3 ball bearings.But it's easy AND it SWIVELS like a dream even while pressurized!! No more need for an add-on swivel!Paired mine with a big plastic shut-off from Master-Flo, and locked it all together with Blue Monster PTFE threadlocker (which IS plastic compatible!! and rated for 10,000 PSI 😂)Materials: 5*Durability: 3*Performance: 5*It should be a 4* item, but the buttery smooth swivel and its meeting my needs put it over the top. If it fails after 2 years, I'll get another. Will update if/when it gives up the ghost.

These are the best garden hose quick connects. They look similar to others on the markets, but these are the only ones I found that last year after year without leaking. They are built like tanks. I do use a little silicone grease on the rubber o-ring to keep it from drying out and cracking.
