We bought the Flat Shovel with the intent to scrape linoleum off the floor, and while it does that job perfectly, we discovered an unexpected bonus—it works wonders for cutting the grass that’s creeping over our driveway! The heavy-duty metal blade slices through the grass like butter, saving us from the tedious task of trimming with scissors. Makes a great edger too! The quality is great. The pole is incredibly long when you add all the extensions, making it super functional for tackling bigger projects without needing to bend over or strain your back. Whether you’re scraping floors or taming your yard, this tool has become a surprise powerhouse in our garage. Definitely a must-have for any DIYer or gardener!

It works ok, though I would have liked for it to be a bit sturdier.Otherwise I think its ok.

Well made and sturdy. I love that it comes with an extra blade too! Most scrapers like this I've seen you can't even replace the blade, it's riveted on. I like that the blade portion is welded to the handle, it's much more stable than the types that get the head bolted on the the handle. The weld looks to be well done, it doesn't feel like it will fail.

This was fast and easy to put together. The handle pieces thread together easily. It is lightweight but feels sturdy. There is a rubber protector for the blade. And an extra blade with the tools to install it.I hope to use this primarily for edging. It is late winter and too early to do that task. But I experimented with it today, and am very hopeful. The blade felt sharp enough, strong enough, but it was lightweight enough for a short grandmother to handle.

This actually worked much better than I expected it to! I did not have any issues with it spinning during use, each joint held tightly. It was shipped in a small box and is actually several small sections that screw together! It comes with a spare head (though the first took a beating with the ice and still works great) and each one has a protective piece of rubber that fits over the end. I am very pleased with this.

Impressed by how heavy duty the handle is on this shovel/spade/scraper multi purpose tool. I tested it out scraping some old paint off our concrete basement floor and it did a great job. The blade/shovel piece held up well and did not bend.Note that its use as a snow shovel would be very limited. You could push a little dirt and snow with it, but it would be nearly useless for snow removal. However, as an ice breaker, it would work great. I am looking forward to using it for heavy duty clean up jobs, paint scraping, and cutting into sod.Nice that it included a replacement blade for when the first wears out, which I do not see happening for a long time.

We've had quite a winter in west new york, with plenty of snow and ice. Our driveway has been a slippery mess for weeks. The ice was so thick that the salt wouldn't do anything. So I decided to try this ice scrapper shovel. I must say that unfortunately this shovel couldn't cut through all the ice that we got. Just too thick. The blade on the shovel is not very thick so breaking heavy ice is out of the question. I was able to use it on the porch and the few steps that we have leading up to the house. I can also see how I can use this for some edge work in my garden in the summer. So overall no complaints. The shovel does require some basic assembly, and it comes with few extra handle pieces and an extra shovel blade. Useful and not too expensive.

As the listing describes, I would agree that this shovel is heavy duty. Although the handles come in 15.5" pieces in length, it only takes less than a minute to assemble it to its full length. Once the handle is assembled & all the pieces are screwed into each other, the entire length of the handle feels very sturdy & strong. Even when working against concrete, the shovel stays firm & solid no matter if shoveling or scraping. If you needed your handle to be shorter, you can easy disassemble a few 15.5" pieces off the handle until you get it to the length you need it to be. If you don't have the vertical space for storage, you can easily break it down by unscrewing the handle pieces & store it that way. As an added bonus, the shovel also comes with an extra replacement trowel; as well as the hardware you'll need to replace the spare trowel.
