I went back and forth about getting this because I didn’t know if my mom would actually use it, or if it would be okay following her procedure.I am so glad I bought this, probably the best $90 I’ve spent in a long time.The functionality and sturdiness was the most important thing I considered before my purchase. My mom’s surgeon had explicit instructions about what positions she could and could not be in during the weeks following surgery… this set has allowed her to follow the doctor’s orders.This set is extremely versatile. We set up two sleep “stations” in her queen bed; one to lay on her back at a slight angle using the largest piece with small triangle with the widest angle under her knees, and on her side with the long oblong (half moon) pillow between her knees.I was on nighttime duty to ensure my mom took her pills and helped her to the bathroom for the first week… I kid you not, she was snoring and laying comfortably, even on night one.My mom did not notice any issues with smell, and likes the fact that you can wash the covers. She stated the firmness was perfect for her and loves how all the pieces allow for a wide variety of comfortable positions.My mom said this was such a gift for her recovery, and even attributes her post-surgical progress in part to these pillows. She also said she had been wanting a set of these pillows anyway, so that’s an added bonus. She is 5’3”, but wears regular length pants, for reference.

My daughter needed these for her surgery. They came vacuum sealed. Do need to unwrap them before you need them do they can fluff up. No smell. Firm. Washable covers. It got her thru her recovery time.

First, this is not memory foam. It doesn’t form to your body. The foam is too firm and bouncy (not memory foam squishy) and felt really uncomfortable on the back. Next, the fabric is gross feeling. I processed my return before I ever slept with it, but I get the sense it would be really hot and sweaty. Unpleasant fuzzy texture. Finally, it comes vacuum sealed as most of these kinds of products do, but the return process asks you to box it up to send it back. No way it’s fitting in the box it came with so I had to ask for Amazon assistance to get a return refund. Seriously, I know this was more affordable than some others, but it really shows in the quality. Spend the extra money and get a better one. Not worth the money or hassle.

I bought this pillow to sleep in a partially seated position to avoid back pain. Unfortunately, it was not comfortable for me. I kept sliding down like a slinky on a staircase, waking up with a sore back and finding only my head at the bottom of the pillow. Plus, it’s so bulky it feels like I’m wrestling with a marshmallow mountain!Being very petite at 146cm (4’10”), maybe that’s why it didn’t work for me. On the bright side, these pillows are super soft!Actually, the set of pillows now resides on the floor, serving as my second bedside table. It’s the perfect spot to prop up my tablet for some late-night movie-watching from bed. Who knew pillows could have such a versatile career change?

This pillow set was great for my husband post shoulder surgery. It helped him lay comfortably in bed and stay upright enough for his shoulder to be in a supportive position.

It’s smaller than I thought but that’s actually probably a good thing. It’s soft, yet hard, I do with your body would sink into it more as it warms up like memory foam. I’ve been using it while still pregnant so that could be why I don’t find it as comfortable as I hoped. But I’ll have it for recovery from my c section.

So versatile. You don’t need to prop the pillow up on the wall for it to sit up. I have used it to sit comfortably in bed and on the floor. The covers are washable.

This works very well for sitting up in bed. I like the easily adaptable angle, and it doesn’t slip around on the bed much. Very soft cover, but firm cushion
