Bought 1 to help stop my small weenier dog from digging under the fence. Worked perfectly for the 2 acre area. Just enough jolt to teach him the no-go area. In order to prevent deer from eating my fruit trees, I bought another 1 for some perimeter stand off. Keeps the deer away from the fruit trees now too. Thumbs up!

I bought this to fence off a section of a pond that has a culvert beavers like to dam up. I ran wire low close to the water and land where the beavers come, and hooked it up to the charger. It works great -- doesn't stop the beavers from damming but moves their work back to a location that's easier to clear.A few days after I set this up we had a huge rainstorm, way more than normal. The pond flooded and due to bad placement on my part the charger fell in the pond where it was totally submerged. When I discovered it I pulled it out and much to my surprise it still works just fine. Can't promise this would be true for everyone but I'm really impressed by its durability. Would definitely buy again.

Worked for last summer and fall. Now it has a green light but won’t charge the fence. Very disappointing.

Our shrubs are growing back from damage inflicted by browsing deer. Haven’t seen a deer around our shrubs since installation. Easy setup, but need ground rod post. Used a 3’ x 1/2” fence latch post from our local home supply store.

We had a problem pup who was digging under the fence when we let him play in the back yard and then picking fights with local wildlife that landed him in the vet with some pretty serious injuries. After trying several other options for securing the fence that he managed to defeat, we decided we had no other choice to keep him in and safe than running a hot wire. This system was super easy to set up. It easily attaches to a ground rod, and the power is provided by an alligator clip that attaches to the wire. It only took a couple of attempts at digging out to take care of the problem. We've had it running for about a month, and he now stays well away from the fence. He still gets his play time outside, and we don't have to worry about him getting out and getting hurt again.

I like thats it’s completely waterproof. It mounts directly in the ground rod (purchased separately)Works great but I don’t get enough direct sunlight to stay charged. Not the fault if the product, just be aware you will need to have at least a couple hrs of direct sunlight to stay working. Recommended

This is a product I would buy again. It doesn't work for deer because they can jump over the fence but it does work for raccoons!

Every year the deer would use our garden as a buffet; I saw this and figured it was worth a try; it has (knock on wood) kept the deer out of our garden. They will walk all around it ; but not go close. The other day when I turned it off; to work inside; one female deer kept getting closer , snorting at me; I told her a stern No and she kept pawing the ground, so I walked out and turned it on, she backed off and went back to eating the deer corn we put out for them. Another when I turned it off kept trying to lick the wire; when I told it no; it went off on its merry way! Seriously they know when it’s on and off! So far ; so good and it was easy to install and use! We put up two rungs to 3 of wire on plastic poles with hooks ; one low and one high. He use a piece of rabar I think it’s how it is spelled to ground it and mount the unit. We are able to electrify the gate with the wire pin thing that’s included; so they don’t try to go thru the gate.
