I have two old (20 yrs+) Hampton Bay ceiling fans in bedrooms that use this model remote. They are the quietest ceiling fans I've ever had. I want to keep them operational, which requires the remote, so when one of the original remotes stopped working, I feared I'd have to replace that fan.I was thrilled to find this exact replacement remote, as a new unit. The seller shipped it quickly and it was expertly packed. The package also included a new wall mount bracket, a nice touch. After setting the DIP switch code inside to match my fan, it works perfectly. From looking inside, I also see that this remote has an updated circuit board, compared to my much older original.I am very pleased with this remote, and the seller.

Bought my house 7 years ago and the living room ceiling fan remote had a broken battery cover but it worked so we kept using it. And eventually the buttons didn't always work the first time and eventually I couldn't turn the lights off! Thankfully it had a switch but once off couldn't come back on without the remote. I found this one online and about $10 less expensive than any other. It came quickly and was packed well. It was easy to set the program switches (small tools help if you can't reach the switches) and put the battery in and now it works perfectly! I will eventually swap out the hanging bracket as well because the old one has yellowed from years of use.

I was skeptical about purchasing but just as the other reviews said I plugged in the battery and every button worked perfectly! Not much else to say.

This item saved me from having to replace my ceiling fan and light as there is no other way to control it and is no longer available from the manufacturer.
