Quality of the binders are good.. The only two things I dislike about this product the rubber grip is separate from the binders which leads me into my next issue the hooks will come apart from the screws jack...

My husband and I chose this 2 pack chain binder from Lechansen to use when moving things with the tractor or strapping equipment or vehicles to the car hauler trailer. He explained to me anytime the chain is too long, this device can be added at any convenient place on the chain and the slack taken up by the ratcheting action. These load ratchet binders work great. He is very pleased with the way they are constructed and the way they have worked for him in his tests. The weight rating of 2200 lbs is greaT. He says he would always have two or more chains on anything like a car or pickup he was hauling, making the rating sufficient for the job. The T-section unscrews to add the padded area to the arms. Initially I thought this might be a weak point. As pictured, the threaded area is over 3” long and the threads are very thick and stout. I cannot imagine this ever pulling out or wearing based on the build quality and the design. The set of two load ratchet binders at the time of this review is $40.01. In my husband’s opinion, this price is a steal. Our rating based on everything above is 5 Stars.

Broke at the threads. I figure if I am hand tightening it and can break it something is off. I’m past my return window so I guess I’m stuck with a non-working tool.

No locks for ratcheting mechanism which IMO is a must depending on usage. I can get by as my usage will be minimal but others need to know they will have to devise a means of preventing them from loosening. Bad oversight on the design IMO.
