So far I like this product to test my glucose each morning. I saw it had already a 5 star rating and I agree with the others who had used this device. Easy to use and it's very quick with the glucose readings.

I appreciate these as the test strips are in a good container and have not had any problem with the strips going bad - I was able to use the entire bottle of test strips without having to throw any of them out! I went to the next bottle of test strips (got 3) and no problems at all! So I give these a thumbs up totally! I had gotten aggravated with the testing strips purchased in the drug store ... they do not last after the package is opened.

I am very impressed with this kit. I was just recently diagnosed as possibly being pre-diabetic, but my A1C appeared to be normal. However, due to experiencing intermittent spells of weakness, headache, and profuse sweating after eating or being on my feet for 30-40 minutes, my doctor placed a glucose meter (Dexcom G7) on my arm and monitored me for ten days. My glucose levels were all over the place, showing extreme highs and lows, so I was given another arm monitor to compare to the prior readings. I decided to order a blood glucose (BG) monitor because I kept getting multiple low readings that seemed not to bother me, but I would have the previously mentioned symptoms when my blood glucose was on the rise.Having no prior experience and wondering if I would need the device permanently, I wanted to avoid investing a fortune. I researched all the different glucometers and found this one that had everything in one convenient package. The pen has an adjustable setting for the depth of the lancet to penetrate the skin and is easy to load. The glucometer took only a few minutes to set up and was a little confusing initially, but I finally got the hang of it and was ready to go. The test strips come in two small containers, easily stored in the zippered case with an elastic strap. The glucometer slides into a mesh pocket to securely hold it in the case with the pen. A small pocket on the opposite side of the case holds several lancets. I purchased some alcohol pads separately and slid a few in there, too.The biggest bonus of this purchase was that it came with 100 test strips and 100 lancets. With the special on the Glucoracy Kit, the entire kit was only a few dollars more than buying test strips and lancets alone. If you are new to monitoring your glucose levels, this is a great kit to purchase. After speaking to my doctor, she thinks I am probably insulin-resistant and will need to continue monitoring my levels. I have already purchased a second kit to keep in my purse when I leave the house. It is well worth it, and as soon as my doctor can confirm the diagnosis from the test results we are waiting on, I will be setting up auto delivery for the convenient Glucocracy package containing both strips and lancets.I am not very thrilled about having a new health problem, but I am incredibly pleased with this kit.Thank you, Glucocracy, for making life a little easier for a newbie in BG monitoring.
