To apply blood sample correctly:
Touch the blood with the absorbent hole (yellow side-edge) of the diabetic test strip (in the LEFT side) to absorb it. Do not drip blood directly on the strips.

This unit has a great pc program to download and print out your results.The tester has a low price and the replacement test strips are well priced.This is a total win for blood sugar testing
