Simple and convenient option to add a 1/4" line. Plastic body can be freely rotated for connection. Can even be removed and flipped if necessary. Sealed with (2) o-rings top and bottom. Believe to be metric (2x13) with a third slightly larger o-ring (2.5x13) serving as a retainer. The double o-ring seal however is only for the 1/4" connection.I'd suggest disassembling it regardless and adding a film or plumbers grease to the seals if just for peace of mind. And probably get some additional o-rings to have handy just in case. Small blue locking clip was bit of a loose fit but not going anywhere so not a big deal.

Installation- Easy as any other plumbing part.Functionality- Works very well so far! I’m using it as a way to routinely flush some tubing with diluted bleach to kill microbes, and it does what I want without leaking.

I ordered the FW Speed Fit 3/8 x 3/8 x 1/4 Inch Angle Stop Adapter Valve to eliminate the existing valve that the plumber installed. He installed the cheap, rubber seal type of valve usually used for bathroom sinks. These are fine for infrequent use, however the Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System requires monthly maintenance with our horrible SOFLO water and I do not want to get into replacing the rubber seals. The FW Speed Fit went on the existing kitchen sink valve easily without leaks. Now it is a simple 1/4 turn to shut off the water and the o-ring type valve should last a long time...love it!

Initially, I gave this a five star review. But, a couple of months later, I've noticed that this piece is also slowly dripping water. The plastic part rotates 360 degrees around the center metal connector. Perfect place for water to leak!Original review:The connector for my APEC RO system would drip if I had to turn the system on and off. Replaced it with this, which makes turning the water on and off much easier.

I haven’t had a chance to actually use this yet, but it looks exactly like the image shown. The materials feel fairly well constructed. I’ll update again once I get it installed and if I experience any issues overall for the price, I’m happy with the purchase. I think this will work just fine.
