I sprained my thumb a few times back to back in training. I dont want to stop training so I tried wrapping it with the self sticky wrap at CVS and that became very expensive very fast. I tried just wrapping with athletic tape, but that was very uncomfortable and ineffective.This brace works very well to prevent my thumb from going backwards again and is pretty comfortable. Ive been using it for 3 weeks now and i never sprained my thumb again while wearing it.

I recently had CMC surgery. I needed a soft brace while recovering. My OT recommended a different brand but I decided to go with this one. I’m glad I did!! It’s comfortable and easy to use. The thumb part is sturdy but not too stiff. Definitely recommend!

Futuro made a good, quality product. I liked the design, but their sizing label "S/M" serves Futuro more than the customer.The circumference of my wrist is 5 1/2" and I had to make some adjustments because the strap overlapped the area it needed to adhere. It took me a fair amount of time to alter the product to fit my size, but in the end, I was successful.With that said, I truly believe the sizing of something like this should reflect individual sizes "S", "M', "L", along w/measurements.

Bought this when I started experiencing weakness in my grip between my thumb and forefinger and tenderness at the base of my thumb, which was making some everyday tasks difficult. I have small hands and it fitted well and is really comfortable. Within two weeks the soreness is easing and my grip is improving. I've worn the thumb stabilizer overnight and also during the day when I'm working at the computer. It doesn't interfere too much with typing but writing is a challenge. I should say I've also started using my mouse with the other hand and being careful not to scroll my phone with my thumb. All of the above seem to have helped.

I got these for my husband for what is commonly known as skier's thumb. Both of his thumbs will go out of joint with very little pressure. That wouldn't be so bad but the pain and duration of that pain makes this a significant problem. After reading the reviews and looking at the price we decided that these were worth a try. They worked so well, we're getting another so he has a pair. We showed the brace to our hand specialist and one of the things he noted was the metal support built into the stabilizer. My husband found that his thumb did not go out of joint even when he was dealing with 4 x 4 lumber. It was a godsend. This stabilizer also allows dexterity because the only support is for the thumb - only limited how the thumb moves - so fine hand movements are possible.Highly recommend to anyone experience this type of problem.

I needed to get a thumb stabilizer to treat tendinitis. I initially got a slightly cheaper thumb stabilizer here on Amazon, because I was being cheap, and I regretted it - that one was very bulky and uncomfortable, and I hated it. I then got this one, and it's much better. I will actually wear this.There's a thin velcro strap attached to laces that wraps around your wrist, and a thin velcro strap that wraps around your thumb. It's thin enough that using a computer mouse isn't a problem (though typing is still uncomfortable as hitting the space bar with the thumb feels weird, but it's way better than what I tried before).Overall, it's comfortable. Not as comfortable as not wearing a brace, obviously, but way more comfortable than the cheaper brace I tried. For the $4 price difference, this one is well worth the extra. I would honestly even pay $20 for this as it's so much more comfortable, and I'll actually wear this brace.If you're looking for a sleek, low profile thumb stabilizer, I highly recommend skipping the cheaper ones and getting this one.

I purchased three thumb stabilizers, and this is my favorite! It’s easy to get on and to adjust the fit. (I have very small hands, so most products just don’t fit me at all.) It’s comfortable to wear and provides just the right amount of support.I am a dog groomer, and I have very flexible thumb joints. When holding the nozzle of the velocity dryer for extended periods, my thumb will gradually twist downward, until the nozzle is resting on the back of my thumb, and the rest of my muscles and bones are twisted out of their natural alignment. Over time, I have developed shooting pains in my hand, which I attribute to the way I hold the dryer.This stabilizer holds my thumb in a more natural position and prevents the joint from twisting. I no longer finish drying a large dog with the nozzle resting on my knuckle. I have noticed a significant reduction in pain after one week. (I’m even losing a few calluses that are now covered by the stabilizer!)

Ich hatte Probleme mit dem Daumengelenk in und vorher bereits eine andere, die äußerst unpraktisch war. So richtig besser wurde es auch nicht.Dieses Model hier hat dafür gesorgt, dass ich schmerzfrei bin.Man spürt sie kaum, da das Material sehr anpassungsfähig und gut einzustellen ist.
