I'd give these a 4.4. I found them fairly durable, they lasted about 2 months each except the last which lasted about a month. The original Honeywell filters that fit my humidifier molded quickly, these didn't at all which is great. One thing I found is when they start to go off (ie smell) and it's time to change them, it happens very quickly, it's not gradual. Would buy them again.

These filters are doing the job. The filters I used to use are no longer available so I tried these. They look and feel exactly like the previous ones. For each humidifier I use 2 filters per season. One at start of heating season and a 2nd one sometime in January. Important to flip the filter over every day or so - that extends its use. There is no smell to filters and they are holding up well. I have city water but it does have some calcium. Well water would undoubtedly produce different results.

I bought the same filters in November 2023. With care, I was able to make a pair last in my 2 humidifiers from November to March 2024 in our long Canadian winter. Decided to buy extras this year because they can easily tear if not very careful when cleaning them. (I soak them in a vinegar solution.) Quite surprised when the new ones came as they are much smaller. After soaking them, per instructions, they did fit. However, having a lot less evaporative surface area, I wonder if they will perform as well.
