First, I primed with Zinsser BIN Shellac-based White Interior Primer to prevent bleed-through. Then I painted it in two coats of Fusion Mineral Paint in Damask and it has such a smooth finish. Since it’s a kitchen table which is a high traffic surface, I decided to use Annie Sloan Clear Wax as a top coat.

I really love this paint. it is so thick that probably you may not need a second coat. Excellent paint. Recommend

I thrifted this dresser a few weeks ago and wanted to give it a little change. This paint was recommended to me and I absolutely loved everything about using it. I was surprised to see how little the jar was but I didn’t even use half of it on the whole dresser- a little goes a long way! I love the color, too! However, I specifically bought this paint so I wouldn’t have to use a finish. The end result feels too rough and chalky for my liking- like, I don’t want to touch it. And, unfortunately, after only a few days, I’ve already managed to scratch some paint off the top. But that must just be a paint thing; I’m no pro. So in conclusion, I love everything about the paint except for that it feels like paint lol.

I ordered Algonquin. I'm so disappointed that it's hard even to write this review. The paint turned out be a very dull, unremarkable mud color. After looking at, reading about and researching Fusion Mineral paint for two weeks, I am left in absolute disbelief. I have wasted a total of $68.20 for two small jars of paint. I could actually cry.

Mixed well to begin with yet when used days later, it didn't seem to dry evenly. Perhaps I needed to mix more.
