Works great and you control the speed and amount dispensed. Cleans up well.

I gave it to my son who now makes pancakes for his twin sons. It helps to make them all the same size so the boys don’t fight over who has the bigger pancakes😂😂

He said it was easy to use, some dripping of batter but not near as much as he was accustomed to. It was easy to clean, and store when not being used.

I must admit that when I used this, it was the first time that I have ever made pancakes, so I am probably not the most experienced person to review it, but I can definitely say that it was a breeze preparing them using this.I used a packaged pancake mix from the supermarket, mixing only with water and some milk although the instructions did not say that. The resulting batter was not very thick, so I was extra worried if this thing would keep it inside without leaking, and I am happy to report that it did. In fact, I used half of the batter and kept the other half for two days in a refrigerator in this and there were no leaks at all. I just mixed that last part inside this with a spoon to mix any settlement of layers during the two days and to make sure I still had a homogeneous mix.The use was so simple. I move this on top of the skillet, pull the trigger, and eye the expanding layer of batter on the skillet to time when to stop. It took a short time to pull the trigger to get enough batter for a single pancake, and it was such an ease to simply put this dispenser back on the side for the next use. If I had been pouring from anything else, I am sure I would have had to do some cleaning every turn. I just used a small dish to put this on, just in case, and that seemed to have helped stopping only a few drops. Although you can probably use it with a single hand, I preferred using two hands to make sure I hold it in place while I pull the release trigger. The only part that I can question is the cleaning. The instructions seem to describe a delicate wash by hand, which I am too lazy to do. I've washed it in a dishwasher without seeing any damage to it. BUT, the bottom part of the dispenser was like bowl. I naturally put it into the dishwasher upside down to clean the inside well, and when the machine was done washing, there would be water on that bottom part. The first wash was not too big of a problem as the dispenser was already clean, but the second time there were some batter remains on that bottom part. It was still cleaned, just not that good. I tried to put something on the trigger so it would remain open in the dishwasher, but I could not get anything to remain there, holding the bottom part open. And it did not seem like a great idea either as it might weaken the spring mechanism, or the thing you put in there can just fall off and stop the water propeller from turning in the dishwasher. Anyway, in short, I did put it through the dishwasher, but I also had to do some manual water-emptying and wiping by hand afterwards. Not a big deal.Overall, I like the practicality it introduces. I have not even mentioned the extra rings and the spatula that came with. Spatula's softness was ideal for lifting the cooked pancake up from the skillet for the turn. The price of $30 CAD at the time of writing felt a little high, but I think it was well worth the help you get from it.

I generally use the bulk pancake mix in a bag from Costco (Krusteaz) because it is easy and generally pretty good. We've been using it for years and never have issues making good batches. But by following the directions on the bag, it makes the batter too thick for this dispenser. On its own, it poured out in chunks and took a long time to drop. It also required me to really push it out with a spatula, which resulted in moving the dispenser all over the place. So I started over again, only this time added more water to the mix. It was runnier than I was used to, but it worked a lot better in the dispenser. It poured out with minimal effort and kept the pancakes in a uniform shape. There was very little drippage, but I wouldn't say it was non-drip. I did have a drop or two at the end when moving the dispenser over to the sink and I did have some leftover batter in the bottom that wouldn't find its way out by gravity. In all, it worked fine given the right circumstances. It is somewhat easy to clean, just be sure to get the underside of the chute as it will collect batter. The open/close handle feels a little weak, but it should keep working, looking at the design of it.Unless you have a lot of pancakes to make (10+), I would say it's not really worth while using. If you are pouring out all your pancakes in one shot, you may as well just pour from the bowl.

Everything arrived sooner than expected. There is no assembly required like other products. You can use it right out of the box. There’s no mess.

honestly i hate filling my kitchen up with random gadgets that are "unnecessary" but this actually made it fun to make pancakes more often since it's so much more controlled and less messy. i haven't tried the rings/molds really, i find it unnecessary for just making pancakes but im sure it's a good added bonus that i can use for something else later on. i will say that cleaning the pitcher is a bit more work to clean closer to the seal, but definitely beats cleaning up the entire kitchentop area. definitely makes it easier and more enjoyable to cook so i actually enjoy this "gimmick" as someone who absolutely hates cooking lol

This is an awesome pancake batter applicator, like something you would see in a fancy restaurant where they make a design on the plate for you. Give it to the kids and let them have fun making cool designs on the pan as you’re cooking. The bottom dispensing hall is incredibly useful and a lot of fun. Let you create all kinds of cool designs on your frying pan or griddle. The applicator hole is a decent size and shouldn’t jam up even with thicker batters, but you may need to thin your batter to use this device properly without burning your pancakes, waiting to dispense.I should’ve got one of these along time ago. Highly recommend , A+ Product.

Fair gadget for the money. It’s really easy to use, but a frustrating part is cleaning the opening. Food residue gets stuck in the little slot where it closes.

So I have an 11 year-old son and he loves fresh pancakes in the morning before going to school. My husband saw this product on the website and decided to order it for me because I have carpal tunnel in both hands. He figured this would assist me with making things a lot easier for breakfast time. He was correct. I thoroughly enjoy this product and I get the perfect size pancakes every day for my son whether he wants the mini size pancakes or the full size family breakfast pancakes it works great.

I like to use this when I make pancakes, the trigger is built a little cheaply so it can stick But over all it's nice.
