Your cart is empty. The size of engine oil drain valve is 20 millimeters - 1.5. Used to drain engine oil with the touch of a finger and eliminates stripped threads. It replaces drain plug for quick, easy, clean oil change. It is also ideal for drawing small sample of oil for oil analysis. Helps to avoid contact with hot oil and prevents hands and clothes from getting messed up.

I don't recall is this is the size I installed on my 2006 Subaru Forester or 2004 Toyota Camry. On the Subaru, I installed on for the engine oil and one for the transmission. Sure makes it nice and clean to change oil. The only down side is being careful to not high center on the plug, which is more apt to happen on the Subaru than the Toyota as the Subaru isn't always on paved roads.

After one year and its still working. No leaks. No accidental spills. However, soon after purchasing it and boasting about not getting my hands oily, I forgot i'd still have to take off the oil filter, which on my 05 wrx will always always drip oil on you.If anything it helps with having to dump large amounts of oil out of the drain pan into another container, using this it goes straight into the other container.

***UPDATE***After changing my oil, I literally AM IN LOVE. The turn valve was secure when I opened it up, the oil drained out right into the jug, and I closed it again. SUPER SIMPLE. I literally have to recommend this to everyone who changes their own oil.Installation was a piece of cake on my 2006 WRX. Make sure you order the right part number for your car. Haven't done an oil change with it, but the lever was sturdy and definitely wouldn't move on it's own. I have it installed so that the lever arm is protected by the valve. If I hit anything, oil won't come out unless that entire valve breaks. I'll update when I change the oil

this is the second one of these i've had on my cars.i currently have a 2011 subaru outback with a 3.6R motor (the manual says 6.7 quarts of oil per change)i've despised doing oil changes because the nearly 7 quarts of oil always comes flowing out quickly and i manage to get it all over my arms (my wife is actually impressed how good i am at getting dirty). this valve is awesome because it has a nipple for 3/8 inch hose. all you do is put the hose on the nipple, run the hose to a catch can (like an empty milk just gallon) then open the valve. super clean and easy!!the problem is (and not a fault of fumoto) this thing sticks out the bottom of my oil pan straight down, so (God forbid) i ever hit something significant it could tear this valve off. i was thinking of fabricating a skid plate for the bottom of my car (plus it gives me the opportunity to fabricate stuff which is always nice, you know, since it allows additional punches on my "man card")

Installed on GR WRX hatchback. The N-version with the longer nib is about even with the WRX splash-guard, well below the bottom of the oilpan- if I were to buy again, I'd probably get the smaller nib version.Draining takes a little longer than taking out the plug, but it's a lot less messy. I haven't had any leaks or valve failures, even driving on rally-cross style roads.Still doesn't stop the oil filter from getting oil all over the place with you remove it, sadly.

Installed today. Went in easy and once a little oil lubricates the ball valve inside it turns MUCH easier. When you first get it, it is very VERY difficult to open and close. Add a little motor oil and it opens nice without fighting you. There is no way this will just open on you or get knocked open by a rock. It's hard enough to get the darn thing to open when you are trying. Spin on with a crescent adjustable wrench until snug just like a drain plug. Comes with its own blue crush washer. No leaks :).I will edit this review once I change the oil again to attest to the speed at which this oil comes out (or doesn't).I will be buying these for every car I won or work on awesome productedit: A year later this is still working and has not leaked. The convenience of being able to do an oil change without lifting my car is awesome. I'm going to buy another for my transmission. takes about 6 minutes to do an oil change now. another minute for changing the filter.

In order to install this on my '05 Legacy GT I had to lift the motor a few inches off the crossmember. The crossmember was in the way just enough that I wasn't able to turn the valve to screw it in. This wasn't a big deal because I was already dropping the pan.If you find yourself in a similar situation, you can remove the two motor mount nuts and jack the motor up on the header. Then you can install the valve. Torque the motor mounts to 50 ft-lbs.For instructions for full removal of the pan, google: "Killer B Ultimate Oil Pick-Up Tube and Pan install". Just use steps 1 thru 6, excluding step 4, then install the valve and reverse the steps. The valve is very well built, and I love the idea of cleaner tool-free oil changes. Great investment for the DIY mechanic.

Let's face it...nobody likes to get messy with an oil change. Turning the drain plug those last couple turns...knowing the hot oil just waiting to spew all over your hand and burn you like you just touched a hot stove. Not with this slick bad boy. Turn it a 1/4 turn, and it flows out smooth as silk. With the drain nipple, you have precision guidance with this thing. Want to fill up old oil containers? Easy. Done. No burnt hands. So, yeah, it MAY take...20,30 seconds longer to drain vs the original drain plug. But who gives a crap? I'd rather watch it drain a little while longer than burn the heck out of my hand. The F105N 20mm-1.5 fitted my Subaru STi perfectly. The "N" in the part number signifies the nipple part of the drain valve. If you're wondering, no, it doesn't stick down at all (If you're worried about hitting a bump and tearing it off) The subframe and other hard-parts on my STi hang down lower than the nipple does. No worries. If you bust that thing off...well, you're gonna have a lot more fixes on your hand than the just the stupid drain plug, I'll tell you that much.I've had one on my old Jeep Wrangler for 50,000 miles plus. Zero leaks. So, when I got my STi, it was common sense to get one for the Subaru. Well worth it!
