I really like the smoothness of this winch. It Mounted up perfectly where my old one was. I did, however, encounter a problem with installing the handle which was mostly my fault. When installing the bolt that holds the handle on, there is a metal tube that goes into the handle and the bolt goes through the tube. I inadvertently tightened the bolt too tight and deformed the tube despite the instructions warning me to be careful not to over-tighten it. I picked up a new section of aluminum tubing at Lowe's, cut it to length and used it to fix my error, works great. The tube that comes with the winch is made with a cut that runs its entire length and is easy to deform if over-tightened so, be careful.

The Fulton F2 2000 lb is a very nice winch, Works easily, and less chance of pinched fingers. The only issue I would watch out for it the size. This is larger than a typical boat trailer winch.

Purchased this to replace the factory winch that my Tracker 175TXW had on its trailer. Installation was super easy. This winch can manhandle this boat, and is exactly what I was looking for. Not only is this thing a beast, it looks great sitting at the front of the trailer. Highly recommended!

I replaced the lightweight, stock winch that came on the trailer of my 2017 Lund 219 Pro V GL with this one 3 years ago now.This winch is a MUCH better option and has performed flawlessly. I launch/trailer my boat around 300 times a year. A lot of lakes in Northern WI make it tough to get the boat all the way on the trailer, but this winch has no trouble cranking it up the last 1-2 feet on some of the smaller launches.

I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. I replaced my old unit that was rusted and worn out with the Fulton FW20000101 F2 Trailer Winch with Strap. The unit is mounted on my pontoon boat trailer.Very easy to assemble and install. Packaging is first class to protect in transit. Unit quality is excellent and well worth the money spent. Adds class to the look of the trailer, see pics included.

I can now load my boat with ease with this winch. Just had major back surgery several months ago and was having issues with my other winch that was brand new. I thought a 2500lb winch would be fine for my small 14’ bass boat but it was very difficult. So I bought this single speed and it takes no effort at all now to winch it up all the way. I’ll never buy a different brand that’s for sure.
