Better quality and easier installation and serviceable than the mini tank and remote pump type. Modern neat looking that mounts adjacent to the inside unit. Easier to servive if lint or dust get into the reservoir.

The construction seems very well and function as described. It doesn’t produce noise ! Recommend it.

I owned three of these Fujiwara pumps. They work well. I ordered another Fujiwara pump. It had no power cord in the box and when I installed it, it was leaking. The rubber plug in the back was damaged, either in manufacturing or the way they installed it into the pump at the factory. They should send an extra

I liked it at first because it's really quiet like advertised. But it failed after 3 months. Inlet is clean, power is on. The support instructions through their links on Amazon mention referencing a user manual but there's no manual to be found. The support website goes to a different company with same name but in Japan. I contacted this company and they confirmed they don't make or sell this unit. Bad news!I gave two stars instead of 1 since it was nice while it lasted.

This totally solved a chronically condensate leaking Daiken split unit in our Sun Room. The existing pump was a smaller unit the installer tried to "hide" inside the Daiken cover (which didn't fit well). The reservoir would fill and the pump would trigger LATE, meanwhile water would spill out on the floor overflowing the condensate tray.I installed this on the wall below the Daiken indoor evaporator unit with new condensate lines. I took 120V power from one side of the 240V power terminal block in the Daiken unit. End result was clean looking and TOTALLY solved the leaking problem. When this unit comes on, you literally can't hear it unless you put your ear against it, that is how quiet it is.My take-away is -- outboard condensate pumps are the way to go.

Review Update - it’s now been almost 2 years and this guy is still silent and still working perfectly. A true 5 stars.Original Review:I've previously had condensate pumps from Little Giant, the de facto option at most big box home improvement retailers and the choice of many HVAC pros. The units are reliable, but they're also objectively ugly and can be heard clearly when pumping. When we decided to place a continuous service dehumidifier in our master bath (NYC apartment without vent fan means during humid summers, tons of bathroom mold growth and general nastiness unless you do something about the moisture) I wanted something that wouldn't look so industrial - the Little Giant units were fine in a basement or crawlspace, but this was going to be visible every time we use our bathroom and my wife was not on board. Enter the Fujiwara unit - I'll admit I bought mostly on aesthetics, but what has really impressed me is that these units are truly silent. Not "hard to hear" or "silent from a distance", I mean literally silent - I used clear tubing and still had to hold a flashlight to the line to confirm it was actually pumping when I did a test run and poured water from a bottle into the unit before connecting to the dehumidifier. It's now been about 3 months and the unit hasn't missed a beat - it is still silent, still incredibly effective and showing no signs of slowing down. It's small enough that I was able to attach it to the dehumidifier itself with adhesive velcro pads and tuck out of sight. I will update if there are any reliability issues down the line, but so far this is the best condensate pump option on the market by a long shot!

Failing after 1 year...unit fail to start apparently due to a cheap relay, this cause the unit to overflow an leak water to the floor, she resume work after I carefully hit the relay and work fine for a few days..this morning we found our son's bedroom floor a few gallons of water. Good product when it wor...they should use a float to start/stop the pump...or a better relay.-------------------------------------------------The unit work perfectly ... You can't hear it working, extremely easy to install. You can wire the unit directly to the air handler, it auto regulate the voltage so it will work in US and Euro

This pump is easy to install and does it’s job. One problem I see is that the power cord is removable and just plugs into the pump. But it plugs in at the top of the unit right next to the water inlet. When I tested the pump after installing it, it dripped some water on the cord, which promptly seeped into the connector and I got a mild shock. If you are mounting it, maybe plug the cord in before mounting to the wall and seal the space around the cord and the housing with some silicone to make sure no water enters the connections. Having said that, it would probably also good to plug it into a GFCI.
