If you’re a newbie like myself, it’s understandable to mix up different research or to find yourself missing something. In my case, I totally missed the part where this camera needs a lense attachment in order to be used at all. Meaning you literally can’t use it, until you buy a lense for it. They’re usually $300+!! Just a rookie mistake but the camera was super nice and clean.

My old X-E2s died. I loved that camera.When I went to replace it, I found a good price for the X-T30II and decided to give it a shot. I couldn't be much happier. I did prefer the old d-pad controls to the new joy stick, but I'm getting used to it. And the placement of the 'Q' button just sucks, but the picture quality is superb even with the kit 18-55 lens (which I had from before). And the auto focus is much improved from my old camera ... so bonus!

I bought this as open box and received it in perfect condition. I love the small size, the higher pixel rear lcd screen, the film simulations and the general feel of all the buttons. Like others, I found the Q button to be in the wrong pace so I disabled it and move it to the ae-l button or the view mode button. I wish it had a D pad like the XT-3 as I do not like to use the touch screen for my cutomized buttons. All in all I am very pleased with it and recomend it.
