Please check the part number before ordering, thank you! Installation Notes: Port/connection size M18 X 1.5 center thread. The fuel filter is connected in series on the pipeline between the fuel pump and the inlet of the throttle body. There are 4 ports, two inputs and two outputs. We have provided two plugs and two plugs, which must be plugged with Teflon tape before use, and then installed on the filter and tightened to prevent port leakage. When installing the water separator and filter, put down the nylon collection bowl. When installing the filter, use a tool to tighten it. Please add oil to the filter before installation. Precautions: If you don't have one of these diesel rotary filters, please don't fall into the water. The input port and output port can be on the same side or on the other side to meet your various needs. The outlet at the bottom allows you to discharge excess dirt and water without disassembling the components. Please note that the bowl is reusable, don't throw it away unless it is broken. Regular inspection and replacement.

Same water separator/fuel filter that is commonly available at marine dealers at a much higher cost. Great price. Works great so far, no issues.

I did find the threaded barbs screwed in loosely to the filter body, and I had to use quite a bit of teflon tape for the threads to snug up. Once snugged, they didn’t leak. Other than this, the product works as advertised, and is less expensive than a Racor.

wanted to keep trash out of fuel lines going to motor, this looks like it will fill that bill.

I've installed lots of fuel water separators own a marine related business. Anyway, installed one of these units about 3 months ago. Within a month, it started to leak at the rubber oring/seal between the clear cup and the filter and leaked gas/oil all over my new sea-dek, staining it. The rubber oring swells and since the cup doesnt 'capture' it, it squeezes right out. So, I went to Napa and found another rubber seal. Installed it and tightened it very hard with a pipe wrench so there was no way it was going to leak again. Wrong....same thing happened and now I have gas all over my carpet and deck...again. Not to mention the plastic cup is beginning to...soften? I dont know what this is made of, but it's super dangerous and should be pulled from Amazon. Horrible product that didnt even last 3 months.
