This worked well for my Silverado. Like for like swap and came with everything I needed. It was so quiet when I turned the truck on I had to check for power and ground because I thought it wasn’t kicking on. Seems to be well made and saved me a good chunk of money. Pressure when tested was 50 psi at the rail. Seems to be durable and hopefully will last a while.

03 Silverado ex. cab 4.8. I give it 3/5 cuz it works and it’s cheap but install takes time. Whether your dropping the tank or raising the bed. And it comes with a adapter you have to rewire yourself. Just color match and it should line up correct. Autozone Carries a exact adapter for about $50. All in all if you have a friend or some kind of hoist it’s not too bad. Cheap material though I see another change in about 50k

I installed the pump and my truck is running great I followed the procedures necessary to replace the fuel pump correctly. I made sure I emptied the remaining gasoline from the gas tank and cleaned the empty tank before I installed the new fuel pump. It's a little noisy but it was running like crap before . I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado 4x4 with a 144,000 original miles on it .. it had been sitting for a whole year in front of my grandmother's house baking in the Arizona Sun and I bought it from my cousin and brought it out to CA . I had to haul it here on a trailer because the fuel pump went out on my dad as he was driving it to me.. So I was really bummed out about it. So i looked around on Amazon and I ordered the fuel pump on a Friday morning. I went to work and it was here by Saturday midday the next day and I went to work on it installed it and by Monday I was on the road to work with it and it's been running great since! That Friday evening after work me and my good friend removed the entire truck bed which gave me easy access to be able to work on the pump .

*UPDATE * Its been a few months now since i installed this pump and it has worked flawlessly, cant say enough good things about it so ill leave it at this, buy this pump, its worth the money and works just as well as the oem!Im writing this review and just so there's no mistake the pump has been in for a week now so I will update down the road. I took a chance on this pump assy because of the price and the other 4 people that gave it 5 stars at the time. The pump was an exact match and fit well. The only problem I had which also delayed my instal was the new wiring harness that needs to be installed on the vehicle and here's why. I never trust wiring things up by color alone, I'm an electro-mechanical maintenance tech and have made that mistake in the past so I always go by numbers or letters when present. Unfortunately the lettering on the harness isn't clear, there's an A on one side and a D on the oppisite side but it isn't correct. The pamphlet that came with is correct but once again they do this with colors. If looking at the harness from the rear the correct lettering sequence from right to left is C, A, B, D. You'll know what I'm talking about when you pull off the OEM plug and replace it. This thing is as quiet as a church mouse so have a second person there to turn the key while you listen for the pump to engage. I have to say so far so good. I am very pleased with my purchase.
