The nozzle on the pump closest to the passenger door needs to be sanded down to fit. Dont try to force it on it should go on like the one opposite. That I find to be not so great. Purchased a few months back just installed today so as far as how long it will last well jury is out. Besides the sanding so far so good. Gave 3 stars because of the sanding.

Well, it's just under 4 months, and about 3700 miles, since I installed this fuel pump. Two days ago it quit on me, leaving me stranded about 2 hours from home. Luckily, since I just installed it so recently, I knew exactly what it entailed to change it, and there was an Autozone within a mile, so I walked over there to get a new one and get back on the road. This one always made a whirring noise from the moment I installed it, but I didn't care if it made noise, as long as it worked. I guess I should have sent it back right away. Good thing is an 03 Escape has to be one of the easiest vehicles to access and change the fuel pump. With only a couple tools, and a cell charging cable, I was able to diagnose that the fuel pump connector was getting power, and change it out in a gas station parking lot.Edit: The seller immediately provided a full refund for the defective fuel pump, no hassle. Thank you. Obviously, I would recommend this seller, as he/she stands behind the product they sell.

yup.it pumps fuel. But the float mechanism looks different and cheaper bcuz it is. Cant at all trust the fuel gauge anymore. gona have to take it out and fix that issue.
