Fits great into my kitchen aid stand mixer. It was pretty easy to clean, and easy to use. I like that you have the option of 4 different shapes/tips. The shape heads can be stored in the plunging portion as it unscrews making for a convenient storage solution. I highly recommend freezing the bananas when you like how they taste. We froze bananas that were over ripe and it ended up tasting bitter. I recommend letting the frozen bananas sit out for a few minutes before grinding so the attachment will work more efficiently. The machine is build well and does a great job even when the bananas are frozen hard. The noise level comes from your stand mixer not this attachment. We will be trying other frozen fruits soon.

It's probably a weird Colorado thing but for some reason when it's absolutely frigid outside ice cream always sound good! The only thing is I hate going to the grocery store and my husband and I are trying to be mindful of how much sugar we take in. This wonderful little attachment is awesome for making a creamy treat with frozen fruit and works much better than a blender because it doesn't get stuck while grinding the fruit down. I have found myself indulging in a nice frozen creamy naturally sweet treat more often because it is so easy to use and clean. I do wash mine by hand just because I want it to last longer and maintain it's quality but even that is easy peasy!

This review is for the Cofun Frozen Fruit Soft Serve Maker for Kitchenaid, Dairy-Free Ice Cream Attachment for Kitchenaid, Frozen Yogurt Maker, Dishwasher-Safe Sorbet Maker, Ice Cream Maker Attachment by CofunThis frozen fruit "ice cream" maker was something I got to replace my Yonanas. Unfortunately, the price (at the time of purchase) was $49.99, which is more than my dedicated machine! At the time of this review, it is on sale for $29.99, which is closer to where I think is a fair price. It seems to be well-made, but mostly plastic. We will see how it holds up over time. You do need to let your frozen fruits warm up for about 10 minutes before grinding. I do like the various shapes that the maker comes with to give your "ice cream" a fun flare. Overall, I think this is a fun machine for making a healthy treat, but wait for a sale price.

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful way to make a frozen treat without the dairy, additional fat, random ingredients. Just take frozen fruit and run it through the attachment and woo hoo, you have a treat! Easy to clean Easy to use.

Works well and does what is says it should. We like to make fruit based healthy desserts with it and trick my toddler to think that we are eating ice cream every night.

I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised how well this turned out. It's very easy to install and use. Clean up is a breeze as well. Most of the parts are well made but, I feel they could do better with the plunger , it just didn't feel as thick and sturdy as it should. Especially when it's being used to push frozen fruits down and through the shoot. Everything connected and fit well on my Kitchenaid mixer with no issues. I started with some frozen sliced strawberries and bananas I already had in the freezer for my smoothies. I sat them out for 10 minutes to slightly thaw as stated in the instructions. I wish I would have let them sit for a least 15-20 minutes longer as it really bogged my mixer so, pay attention to how much your fruit has actually thawed in the time given. It did eventually loosen up a little and start to flow. I used the star attachment for the end. It came out so thick and creamy. Looked just like something you would get at an ice cream shop. I can't wait to try different fruits and combinations. So many options with this....definitely a game changer and very welcomed into my journey of healthy eating. In the instructions you will also find a few recipes to try that will help get you started and on your way. So far, I'm pleased with it. Not only is it healthy, quick and easy to use, it's also a lot of fun!
