Did not have a whole lot of hope. But had been thru a hurricane with no power for 8 days .... Needed screens!!! Best Money I spent during this storm and I screened 6 windows for well under $100 . Thank you So much for a great fix! Now I'm looking forward to putting them in again in spring!

These work great if you don't have a screen. BUT the wood slats will shrink an cause the mesh screen to come apart. The time frame varies on where you live and may work better in different regions

We bought these to put in front of our new window screens to keep them from being ruined by our cats claws while still maintaining air flow. They stay in place well and the window will close over them. The cats can still perch by the windows and if they claw, these protect our our newly installed window screens from damaged. I'm buying two more so we can open other windows safely.

I just opened these to find they are not fastened properly and the screen is not in one piece they mended them together poorly as shown in the pics. And this is after I returned the first order because they were torn when they arrived.

Pull the screen's product label off very carefully, or you risk pulling the screen out of the frame and ruining it upon arrival. For some reason (poor production choice, probably) the product's label is wrapped around the screen and embedded into the frame. Patiently tear the label off one side of the screen like you're tearing a page out of a notebook, and then do the same to the other side to avoid damaging the screen.Otherwise, the screens fit perfectly and work really well. My home is much cooler with the windows open to ventilate while I cook. The screens block pests, especially those large, noisy, bacteria-carrying flies, from entering my home. The real test is to see how well they work to deter mosquitos. The mesh seems large enough to allow mosquitos to pass through. I will update my review later this Summer if the screens also block mosquitos. They worked so well in my living room that I ordered another pack of two for my bedroom.

These are great, fit the windows of my pre-war apartment perfectly, dont bend when you apply modest pressure to them closing the window.

I have an old window in my basement that is custom, so I cant replace it until the whole window is redone. This is such a great find because it fits and allows me to open the window without insects, etc coming in. I would highly recommend.

Yes I I'd buy again looks nice very sturdy and was long enough for my window ... But it could've been shorter in height had to have my window up high but longs as no bugs got in I was cool .. I'd buy these again
