My dog has had fleas a few times. When she has had fleas I get this stuff. After using this and also doing lots of laundry and vacuuming, the fleas were gone within two weeks. Once my dog went to a friend's house that had a ton of fleas. When she came home, she picked up a flea or two but they were all dead by the next day so I know this stuff works.

I have tried all different brands of flea medicine for my dogs and I always end up coming back to Frontline. It works better than all the other brands. It might cost a little more, but it’s worth every penny.

Leaves the fur greasy looking where applied. The regular frontline product would “wear off” in a reasonable time before the next dose. The “shield” does not at all and we have a dog that does not need or want a frequent bath. The product itself works fine for what it is supposed to do. I will go back to the “original” when I’ve used this up.
