Got it on the jeep "2019 JLUR" in about 40min. I only had standard size sockets so I used a 1 11/16" for the stock nut and a 1 5/16" for the nut from the kit. Put it all togeather "loosely" so you can get the bearing into the sector shaft easily. After that just tighten everything up. Torque and you're good to go. 184ftlbs sector shaft nut,99ftlbs for steering box,Jeep says 110ftlbs for the track bar but I go 130ftlbs, the bolts that hold the sector shart bearing housing 13mm head I went 30ftlbs and used blue locktight.

I installed this on my Jeep this past weekend. I was going to use another brand but this one popped up on my vine and looks the same so I thought I would giv e it a try. It si well made and comes with everything you need to isntall wether you have the aluminum or steel steering box. THe install is a little tought as you have to get everything installed but not to tihht until you can get the plate with the bearing to line up and tighten. Gettign it adjusted to be able to get the bolts in took the most time. Once installed it tightened my steering up a lot and makes it respond faster. I no longer have the little play in my steering wheel I had before and I still have the aluminum steering box. It works as expected so I give it 4 stars.

I’ve been looking at these type of upgrades for while now and I saw this item pop up. This is a few hour project, keep that in mind before you try to tackle it. I’ll note the manufacturer didn’t include any instructions or videos on how to install this item. This is something, however, you can find videos on the internet to assist. The fit on this product was extremely tight and I feel some of the tolerances could be loosened up a tad. Hence the reason I docked this a star, along with the fact that it had no instructions. All that being said it really made a massive improvement in the steering wheel feel and tightness. It took the slop out of the steering wheel and I’ve noticed less deflection when hitting bumps in the road. During the course of my installation I had to put upward pressure on the steering box to align the screws. At some point this altered the steering wheel position. If this happens to you it’s an easy fix and can be remedied within a few minutes. Plenty of videos online that indicate how to re-center your steering wheel. All in all I’m happy with the product and how the Jeep drives now, this is how it should have been from the factory. Give it a try!P.S.- put the new bracket on loosely and then your sector shaft brace, that should help with some of the tight tolerances. Tighten everything up once it’s all installed and aligned. There are specific torque values which can again be found online.
