Mli bought this brand in 2021 and my cat liked it. Thinking all catnip is equal i tried other brands but no joy. She is one of those cats who dont have the crazy cat catnip gene and she had no interest in the other brands so I ordered this again. While she still doesnt go crazy, she likes it. Worth the money and the container is packed tight. 5 stars

My cats give it two paws up! They love it and they get it quite often and there's seven of them so I go through this quite often. The cats wanted me to tell you other parents not to be so stingy! Twice I received this product and once I contacted customer service because the side was slit and I was given a credit. It's a nice size. Holds a lot. There's no stickiness to it. They're asking about durability and safety. I'd say the cats find it irresistible they can't get enough of it and I'm just going to keep buying it to make them happy

Pros:Cats love itThere is a lot of product in this container-great value for the moneyIt's fresh-smells lovelyCons:Sharp pieces-sticking fingersHaving to crush sharp pieces with fingers so cats aren't hurtContainer is a bit flimsy but it was delivered without damage. All in all-it's a great value for the money. I'm not sure I completely recommend, but I might buy this again and just give the cat nip a few pulses in the coffee grinder-to get rid of the sticks/sharp pieces.

Background: Ok so, my very pretty long hair 8 year old cat can be a handful at times: like having to trap her to go to vet or grooming. 🙀She reFUSES to go into a carrier-oh my goodness she would rather claw, bite and hiss than cooperate.. tried Gabapentin.. I’ve tried both capsules and liquid. She took the first 2 capsules (very reluctantly) after rubbing her throat and gently blowing into her nose while keeping her held tightly. The second time, forget it, I had numerous claw and bite marks. Tried the liquid Gabapentin-she projectiled it out of her mouth (picture the exorcist) while squirming and thrashing..🤮Being I had the greatest most patient groomer-the only other human my cat would go to and she had equipment and other people to help her, I took solace that at least she would go there for haircut (sanitary area) nails trimmed. Well this week even my groomer said she could not handle her anymore!!!! I thought I’m up the creek now.. what to do? Ok Google of course.. I find out about Silvervine. Better than catnip?? My cat turns her cute little nose up after a few sniffs of catnip. I’ve never!! had a cat who didn’t love catnip!! So I bought this stuff. In the picture it looks small-it’s not!! Thank goodness. It’s a like a pound. It will last a long time ,great price. Anyway. She likes it. She likes it!!!! 😻 I can’t believe it!! She has become so nice!! No biting my hand randomly for no reason!!! Ouch!! My poor hands. All the bandaids. She actually has been coming into my room, cuddling and I’m not scared of her.Just a pinch or two on the rug or in palm of your hand if able, and she gobbles it up. It’s like an anti depressant. I had her to the vet about 3 months ago, to check her out-no medical issues. Even my vet had a difficult time. Silvervine looks like pot and maybe it is- made just for cats.. I’ve never written such a long review. But if anyone has a cat that can be vicious at times, and you love them so much, I recommend you try this stuff. 😸 hopefully she will be able to be groomed again!! That’s the next step but in the meantime I’m not terrified of her-whew!!! That’s huge !!!

I used this product as Silver Vine is the only cat nip my cat reacts to and I was able to get this product from the sellers the following day; all other sellers had a week or more delivery date.

I've bought a few other brands recently and my cats weren't as reactive to them. I have one cat who is especially sensitive to cat nip and on the other brands she reacted but didn't go crazy. My other 2 cats didn't react at all. So I took a chance and spent a little more money on this brand and I'm glad I did. All 3 cats went nuts lol. Seeing them on catnip cracks me up so much. This stuff is potent and I can even smell the difference myself. Like other reviewers mentioned the container delivered to me cracked. I dumped it in a sealed bag. I think this seller could use a better quality container to cut down on waste.

My two cats both started to foam at the mouth after consuming this. They are fine with just regular catnip, but maybe they aren’t cool enough for the silvervine 🤷🏻♀️

i had previously purchased the brand whose ad shows the cat fighting it's owner to eat as much of the catnip as it possibly can, while making cute comments.However, our cats didn't go as crazy over it as the cat in the video did, (and they definitely DIDN'T start making cute comments 😉), so I decided not to spend the extra money on it, and bought this to try it out instead.In the end, our cats seem to react to it the same way they did with the expensive stuff, so I will probably continue to purchase this in the future.

I think all catnip on Amazon tend to be somewhat overpriced, but by comparison this is a decent value, and the quality is outstanding. I happened to have another kitty visiting my li’l guy today, and both reacted far more enthusiastically to this brand than any other I’ve tried (and I’ve bought a fair few, both on and off Amazon). It also looks and smells much better and fresher; there appear to be no twigs (which I’ve seen in other brands) that look concerning, or at least like they’d be uncomfortable to swallow if not chewed.I’m not a big commenter, but I wrote this immediately after watching the kitties reactions - it made me happy to see them happy.
