Recently we had rain/snow here in south central PA and i was working in the elements for the entire day. However these Toggs didn't workout for me. By noon my legs were wet. I would not recommend this item if you will be working in the elements for an extended period. I do hope this review was helpful.

I purchased these for when riding my motorcycle, but have not worn them in any rain just yet. They feel like they would repel the rain quite nicely and they fit over my jeans perfectly. These are made to be roomy as they are meant to go over your clothes. I am a 40" waist, so I got the XXL (2X) and they are perfect.Price is right! They check all boxes for the price for sure!I gave a 4-star because I have not had them long and not tested in the rain...but seeing all the posts and actually feeling these, I am sure the rain would simply bead off of them.

Love these. The material feels a lot more durable than it looks online. Caught out in a rain storm for 2hrs with no umbrella and clothes stayed dry. Low rating on heat because I have not had a chance to expose them to heat. Would buy again. Great product for the price!

Bought these Togg pants because my other Frogg Togg pants MELTED to my pipes on my bike!I was NEVER going to buy another set of Frogg Togg rainsuit then I read that you can buy F.T. rain pants with heat shield on the inside of the leg.I ordered them because I had a long trip planned on my motorcycle and there was a good chance of rainI got them the day before I left on my trip. Good thing too because 2 hours out we hit a torrential downpour with HAIL!Long story short I was gone on a 3 day trip and the rain pants kept me dry. And most importantly they did not melt on my pipes as advertised! If I lost these I'd buy another!

These rain pants are so much better for my use than the old rubber (or something) line pants they replaced. they take up about 1/2 the room and I don't sweat in them nearly as much.Now in Panama (the country), I need rain gear that is always with me and can handle deluges. Even more important for the pants is that they can handle the tidal wave that a truck passing in 4 inches or more of water throws at you (happened just last week).It would be nice if they had snaps or velcro (or combination of both) at the sides of the ankles to add a boot strap to hold them down. Most light rain days that is just something else to get broken and tangled up on pegs (has happened with the old ones). Suggestion, add the connecting points, include one set, and make available to purchase replacements as needed (and adjustable in length).Can't speak to longevity as I have only had them for a couple of months. But I have already used them more times than a couple of years of rain gear use when I lived in Phoenix..I love the easy access to inner pockets, but at least one waterproof outer pocket would be nice, but not required). Others have said the snap pocket cover leaks, well I haven't had an issue yet, but my riding is only a couple of hours each time, so far. I could see an issue if riding all day in them, but haven't any evidence as yet.Enjoy

These Frogg Toggs "Road Toad" rain pants provide excellent protection when I am riding my motorcycle in the rain. My last pair had no heat protection on the inner legs and lasted over 10 years. They only needed to be discarded after I accidentally laid my leg against a hot exhaust pipe and had a large hole burned in them. To prevent this from happening again, I ordered the "Road Toad" model that has heat panels on the inner leg. Additionally, they have reflective piping to increase visibility during inclement weather.Frogg Toggs provide EXCELLENT rain protection with the added benefit of being breathable. No more getting soaked with SWEAT rather than rain, by wearing heavy, bulky, rubber rain gear. Thanks to the elastic cuffs and waist, you also won’t get the Michelin Man effect from billowing up with air.Frogg Toggs have been my go-to rain gear for over a decade!
