About this item

  • Accurate Temperature Data: Advanced internal sensor provides a measuring range of -30°C ~ 70°C ( -22°F ~ 158°F),accuracy range:±0.5℃ (-20℃~ +40℃); ±1℃ for other range, ensuring that the user can rely on the recorded information for analysis and decision-making. Please note that the current on-sale version only supports Celsius degrees
  • Auto Generated CSV & PDF Report: Easy to do the recording by pressing a button to start and stop. Plugging into a USB slot on any computer to get the PDF report directly without any software and driver installation requirement.
  • LED Alarm Indicator: The digital temperature logger has an LED alarm function that alerts the user if the temperature goes beyond the pre-set threshold. This feature is critical in applications where temperature stability is crucial.
  • Multi-Applications: Frigga disposable data loggers can be used for monitoring and recording temperatures during shipments, storage, or experiments. They are ideal for food, pharmaceutical, or laboratory use—any application where a small accurate datalogger is required.
  • IP68 Waterproof Grade: Protective plastic pouch keeps temperature recorder dry, eliminating concerns when shipping materials with cold packs, ice, or in damp environments. To maintain IP68 waterproof rating, do not tear open pouch before data download.

Every three months, I have to get my blood drawn to produce serum tears, requiring 14 vials that must remain cold during transport. Using a shipping cooler with enough ice packs ensures everything stays at the right temperature, and the temperature logger provides proof that the vials stayed within range throughout the journey. The temperature logger is super simple to use and once you plug the logger into a computer it shows up like a USB memory stick and the files are all there to be access and then analyzed for a full report of the temperature during the shipment. This way, the lab can no longer say the samples arrived warm, as I now have evidence they were kept cold the entire time. It also saves me from the hassle of having to provide another 14 vials of blood.

So far these have reacted exactly as described: Push the power button more than 5 seconds (I am guessing it took closer to 8-10 seconds) and the blue light flashes telling you it is activated. I am planning a 180 day run on these, so we'll have to see how much data actually gets logged. 2 of 2 that I have used so far are working as expected...the rest will be used in the next few months. If I have any longevity or logging issues, I will update my review, but for now, considering price-point...it's a definitely recommend.

This is easy to turn on, and you can even do so with it still in it's heat sealed bag, which even has adhesive foam on it. You just hold the on button down through the plastic for 5 seconds and you get a confirmation light that flashes periodically to let you know it is working It's compact, too. But I won't know if it works, or specifically if it works in the temps it will be subjected to in a hot car until 200 days from now - it is single use.I feel like I should have bought one to try out and read in just a day even though that would be wasteful to be sure I know how to get these working properly before running a 200 day test.

This is a great device that is so easy to use! You activate it by pressing the start button and placing on the items being shipped or monitored (there is a piece of double sided tape that can be used to attach to something). Then when the monitoring time is over you remove it from the shipment (it is recommended to leave it in the plastic bag it is shipped in during monitoring) and plug it into your USB drive. There will be files on the drive including the a certification file (see image that shows part of it), and a CSV file for the raw data and a PDF with a ready made report including stats and a graph. It is a one time only throw away device.Highly recommended.
