A little larger than I expected which wasn't a bad thing, timer was easy to set for feeding and is really great for everyday use along with being gone for the weekend. I would definitely buy this again. Very easy to fill and affix to your aquatic tank. The fish food dispenses absolutely perfect due to being able to adjust the amount dispensed each time. It doesn't matter if it's flake or pellet food. The door has never gotten stuck and works as it should. An excellent product for the price. I will say that I have a hexagonal tank; therefore I had to place this on the front. Still giving 5 stars even with the size.

The FREESEA Fish Feeder Automatic Dispenser is a functional solution for feeding fish while traveling, but it has some drawbacks that prevent it from being great.The design is a bit bulky, and it took some trial and error to get it to dispense food properly. Once set up, it does its job—I’ve used it on trips, and it kept my fish alive and fed. However, it often leaves a bit of a mess to clean up afterward, which can be inconvenient.Overall, it’s a decent option for occasional use, especially when you can’t be home to feed your fish. It works, but it’s not without its quirks.

Went away on vacation and decided to give one of these fish feeders a try. I have both pellet and flake food and tried this with both types. For pellet food it works really well, and is pretty consistent in terms of dispensing the food. Flakes on the other hand do not work as well, as they tend to stick to the inside of the "barrel" and sometimes dispense a lot and other times dispense very little.However, if you want to make sure all of your fishy friends survive during your vacation to Disney, this will definitely do the trick. For a longer term solution, I'm not sure I would recommend it, due to the consistency, but mainly due to the size and look of the thing. I sort of thought I would keep the dispenser on my fish tank all of the time, but it is very big and bulky and just doesn't look good. If you have a top cabinet on your tank that will hide this, that would be the best scenario. Otherwise, I'm hoping someone releases a smaller, more compact version in the future.

So far it works fine, it is very large! A bit finicky to get the amount right.

This unit might be good for small tanks with few fish. I have a 60 gallon tank with about 15 fish in it, this unit is just to small even with the flap set for wide open.
