Perfect for any outdoor application or bathrooms inside your home. Unlike the nails made with 308 grade stainless, these 316 grade ones will not rust over time. They also work great on internal window and door frames.

I have not actually used these yet so I may change my rating if they prove problematic, but visually they appear to be good quality, though they are fairly magnetic so their stainless alloying is not of a high grade like 304 or 316. There are stainless steel alloys that are magnetic, but they are not as corrosion resistant as those that are not magnetic. By comparison, GripRite branded stainless nails are almost completely non magnetic, so they are of a higher grade like 304 stainless as far as the actual stainless steel, though they are twice the price. I would not recommend using the Freeman nails where there is any salt exposure, and I might be concerned using them even where they will see wet conditions on a normal basis - My use is under an overhang in a desert, so they will be fine for me, but YMMV.
