Durable, comfortable, and lightweight—everything you could ask for in a pair of boots. Version 2 with arch support would be awesome. While they lack arch support, they're still overall great boots.

I am a UPS driver. I walk 20,000 to 25,000 steps per day. It is really hard to find shoes that can survive the abuse my job puts on them. I recently decided to switch from normal walking shoes to boots because I have bad ankles.I am always scared to spend too much on shoes, because I have never found any shoe, at any price, that lasted more than six months. The last pair of boots I had were twice the price of these ones, and the entire sole peeled off after 3 weeks, but these had good reviews, and were very reasonably priced, so I decided to give them a go. (The dark brown ones).Straight out of the box they were probably the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. I thought I was going to have to break them in for a while, but that was no problem. Also, the ankle support is superb. After a month, or two, each shoe started to show a small gap between the sole and the shoe near the ball of my foot. But I put a tiny bit of shoe glue in there, and it hasn't been a problem again.Right now, I have been wearing them every day for 3 months (or at least 1.3 Million steps), and they seem like they will probably make it another 3, at least. That's probably about as much as you can reasonably ask for boots that were under $70.One other note: they are supposed to be waterproof, but I haven't really had a chance to test that out here through the bone-dry, Salt Lake City summer months. But if they last into the winter, I will give an update on that.Update: The total durability wound up being about 7-8 months, or about 3 million steps. And, even at seven months they were still waterproof. They could have probably gone another month even, but the soles were getting pretty thin, and I decided to get a new pair for winter.I ended up getting the dark black this time, which seems to hold up better in terms of appearance. They were not as comfortable, out of the box, as the dark brown ones were, but still pretty comfortable, and broke in quickly. Also, whereas the brown ones seemed very breathable, and cool; the black ones seem to be much warmer, so they work out better for the cold weather, and snow.

I bought my first pair (on right)of theses 13 months ago. I have worn the living crap out of them. In the snow, mud, dirt, rocks, and through shallow creeks. My boots usually don't make it 6-8 months before the sole start separating or seams start coming apart, but these, wow just wow! They are very much still intact. The soles are getting thin, but they are still wearable. They're comfortable, light weight, extremely durable. I liked them so much I bought 2 more pair, because it seems like when I find a really good product, they discontinue making it. I've had tac boots that cost 3 times as much that didn't last half as long. Update : Just got back from a public land elk hunting trip. The Irish setter boots I took out there to hunt in started coming apart after 30 some miles of hiking in 2 days. I wore these the rest of the trip and put about 65 miles on them in the next 6 days. They held up perfectly. Although the foot bed wasn't as comfortable as the setters, they did the job. Thankful it never got super cold though as these are not insulated.

I wear these every day for work, they and built tough, but are very comfortable to wear. Even standing for hours they were pretty comfortable, the zipper moves well and is secure. I’ve worked a lot and they haven’t scuffed yet. You should definitely buy these, so far they are doing better than any expensive pair of boots I’ve bought. Worth the money.

I spent a long time trying to find military-esq boots that were a reasonable price. These boots proved themeselves well, and were tested rigorously by my chaotic lifestyle. Surprisingly warm in the winter trudging through snow, grip pretty well on ice, I would recommend these to anyone that wants an outdoorsy boot that isn't a heavy hiker.

This is a really decent pair of lightweight boots. Well made and true to size or maybe a tiny bit on the large size. All day comfort right out of the box. I put mine on and wore them around the house for a couple of hours and then took a five mile walk with the dog and no sore or hot spots . Pretty light on the foot for an eight inch boot and roomy enough to wear with some thicker socks. My first walk in these was in 40 degree temps and my feet stayed warm in light socks. Sole provided decent traction and the boots came with decent quality shoelaces which seem to be the exception these days. I would recommend and buy again.

On month 7 of owning these. I’ve used them 40hrs a week performing electrical and plumbing maintenance. Very lightweight and comfortable. Unfortunately from the first job I had around a puddle of water I’ve had problems. Moisture got into the sole of my left boot and makes a loud squeak sound every step I take. Anytime I work and am standing in a shallow puddle or even walk through a wet area my feet get wet. Definitely love the fitment and weight of these but unfortunately have already purchased something else due to a wet work environment. I know they aren’t claiming to be waterproof but I assumed I could expose my rubber bottoms to water without a problem. Would recommend another choice if you know you’ll be working in wet conditions.

Mostly they didn't fit well. I have narrow feet I guess. I got the pair thats for smaller feet and with two sets of insoles and 2 pairs of socks they're still loose width wise. The size is correct for length. Because of the width though, they slip around on my feet and are particularly uncomfortable
