I needed a hammer to get the joining corners to come together. The fit was so tight at one started to split. Would get them only if no others were available.

While the quality of these stretcher bars is fine, there are only 2 in each pack, so you only get 8 pieces in total. They weren't super easy to assemble, but the frame seems sturdy enough for the paintings that I'm going to mount to them.
