It works for me and what i needed for

We bought these pumps instaed of another because they were Amazon's Pick item. One pump did not work at all. The second barley puches the water through a short fountain tube. Reall y dissappointed in the performance. Reeturning is 1/2 the cost of the item so we are stuck with these paperweights. Don;t waste you money.

Great product and easy to use

I ordered these so I could make cat water dish fountains. Unfortunately, even on the lowest setting, the fountains were just too powerful for the purpose I had for them. They would make great "water feature" fountains.

Pump is working well in my fountain.

Price for two was great, I have one when one needed. Used for my outdoor fountain that pump of 3 years finally died. Easy to install

one pump work the other pump does not work .i cannot believe no one got back to me about these pumps . i will cancel my amazon account . Very disappointed customer. i would like my money back ,

I have an Aerogarden Farm XL. Just under two years in, both pumps quit working. I replaced the pumps with new Aerogarden pumps and they still didn't work. It was a controls problem, not the pumps. Aerogarden Support wouldn't help because they were no longer in warranty and they don't sell any replacement parts other than the pumps. I was able to replace the existing Aerogarden pumps with these AC pumps and they work great. The pump functions are just not tied to the Aerogarden controls anymore. If you want to control the time, you can use an outlet timer. For these to fit correctly, I had to use a small file to open the cord slot in the garden slightly to accommodate the larger cord. The plastic is very soft, so even a knife or razor blade would probably work for this. These replacement pumps are also just a hair shorter than the original pumps. I had to pull up on the tube slightly (away from the pump) and then add two aerogarden pump filters under both pumps to raise them up a bit to get them to contact the bottom of the water distribution plate.

So my outdoor fountain needs about an 18” lift and this barely will put a dribble of water coming out of the fountain. I tested it without it hooked up to anything and the lift is really about 8”. It’s more of a bubbler than a pump for a fountain.Shipping:So first it arrived when it said. Amazon packed it in a bag and thankfully it wasn’t broken as there was some care from USPS. But the buyer should beware that it isn’t packaged for fragile shipping.Quality:It is very very cheap, if it makes it through the summer I’ll be shocked. The water adjustment on both units shipped was stuck and one was broken. The adjustment had to be loosened with pliers because it wouldn’t move. The dial moves from “min” to “max” which is about a quarter turn this doesn’t adjust the water flow it adjusts the pump so “min” means it has no lift and “max” means it lifts 8”; it’s the same amount of water coming out! Once adjusted to max it’s very quite. The suction feet are a joke. They are made of plastic not rubber and cannot hold onto anything especially under water; you’ll need to find a way to keep it down and upright on your own. I took a piece of foam and cut it to fit the opening for the pump, so it would stay upright and in place. The cord is a cheap thin 18 to 24 gauge cord not grounded and not insulated for outdoor use. You will need to be careful with weather conditions and critters that like to chew. This is all plastic and designed to be thrown away when it clogs as it’s all glued together with no access to the plastic pump inside. I know it’s plastic because the flow control wasn’t on correctly and I had to take it off and fit it correctly so it would work; with it off you could see the white plastic inside. Nothing is marked and there are no instructions included so if this is your first pump you may need to rely on YouTube to understand what to do.FunctionSo first I thought the 3 tips were to do different sprays but they are just adapters for different sized tubing, so don’t be fooled you’ll only use one and toss the rest. It is nice that you can use several inner diameters. Looks like 1/2, 3/8, 1/4 ID are included. The pump as I said isn’t enough to do much more than bubble or move the water. To test, I hooked thus up to a hose and tried to fill a gallon jug with this. If it truly pumps 80 gal per hour than in 45 seconds it should fill a gallon. Hummm I think not! For it to get 128 oz of water pumped it took it 4 minutes. That means this is a 15 gph pump. The psi is very poor, as I said it will work as a bubbler but there is very little lift or ability to move the water up to it’s claimed meter! I can’t get much with only 18”.Needless to say, I will never buy this again as it doesn’t do what it says and it is poor quality, throw-away, or single use pump. Because it doesn’t do as it said, I will not buy anything from this company again either. 80 advertised 15 is reality…that’s not right!
