I got this for running some DC 24V lights that are powered from a battery bank. The goal is just to be able to turn the lights on without going inside the building that houses the battery bank. This is exactly what I wanted for the job. Hopefully it will last well. Installation couldn't be easier. It's just and inline pair of wires that you put between power and your load. That's all you have to do. I'll update if it's not reliable, but so far, so good.

This works well. But I would be careful thinking it will handle much current for long periods. Small actuators and motors should not be a problem. But a winch of any size is going to push this to its limit quick. And I am not trying to take away from this device, as I say, it works well. Just know it has limitations. The remotes have plenty of distance. They will work much farther than I need. I am only powering the smallest winch to pull small road cases that are wheeled up a ramp into a trailer. I think the largest weighs less than 300 lbs. If I could accurately steer and push at the same time, I would not even need the winch...so we are not taking much power here. And for this, it has worked well.

The cover plate on the switch is labeled "output" & "input". However the printed directions show the opposite labeling.... I'm using this switch to power a linear actuator.Putting power to the output pops my circuit's fuse. So the cover plate printing must be correct, and the printed instructions incorrect... yes??Also, one of the units will not pair with it's remotes.Neither unit has the number of audible beeps to confirm pairing status that the instructions state, when holding down the buttons to enter paring modes... It's impossible for me to know what state the remote is in when attempting to pair. Also, what does "interlock" and "jogging" mean? I can guess at this, but neither seems to do as it is indicating. Finally, when I did accidently pair remotes to one of the units, the down arrow on the remote extends the actuator, and vis versa. Is "jogging" the ability to program which arrow button does what? I need the opposite of what it's doing. The instructions are rather poor in my opinion, and I'll likely have to return these two units that I purchased.I'm hoping the seller or manufacturer will reach out to me and articulate which side is truely input and output.Meanwhile my time-sensitive project is ground to a halt. This is frustrating to say the least.I'd contact the seller directly, but I'm not seeing that option via my Android phone app.
