The grinding point served its purpose which was to make a hole bigger on a riding mower to fit a trailer hitch. As expected, though, it was hard on the grinding point.

I bought several of these, and all of them are terribly unbalanced. At greater than 1500 RPM, the tool vibrates substantially, making fine grinding difficult. I finally balanced one of them fairly well by mounting the shaft in a lathe, spinning it at about 150 RPM, then lightly grinding the surface with a 4.5" right angle grinder. The grinding point works quite well now, but it did take some effort to get it to that state.

Love this grinding point. Hard enough that it lasts and lasts. We cut a lot of 3/4" EMT conduit and this smooths up the ends in a jiffy.(added on 10-4-13)After using several of these, we've started having troubles with the stone breaking off the spindle. We use them in an electric hand drill.
