This is an upgrade from using a 5 gallon bucket for my throwline. It is much easier to put the line back in the cube than a bucket, both because of the larger mouth, and it stands a little higher than the bucket. And of course it takes up less storage space than a bucket when folded.Like some others, I was at first mystified about how to open it. It came with no instructions. I found a video online called "Opening a Throwline Cube (the easy way)," which showed how to open it. The gist, as others have said in these reviews, is to lift two corners and then step on the corners immediately under the ones you have lifted, and then turn the lifted corners counter clockwise. Very easy once you understand.

I have two of these. They are both used daily in tree work and have held up very well. The price is hard to beat!

We had to watch a Tree Stuff YouTube to figure out how to open it then close it. Funny but great. Much better than a zip up tool bag

Sure, I could have gone and spent over $100 for a different brand of cube, but why?This cube has held up to my use, been easy to deploy for work, and fold up at the end of work.The material has also held up to the use I've put it through.Good product, thanks!

Can't speak to the longevity of the product yet, but so far, I think this cube is excellent! It performs without issue and has all the pockets and features needed when in use. Holds my weight and 150' throwline easily and folds into a compact triangle. Throwline remains untangled and ready for immediate use when needed.
