I was worried that the screen wouldn’t have enough glue but it worked wonderfully. I watched and followed a YouTube video and it was pretty straight forward. Removing the glass is the hardest part. You might want to buy a heat gun or a blow dryer bc it’s almost impossible to remove it without. Worth the price!

My iPad started ghost touching immediately after I installed it, despite checking to make sure it was working properly before putting it all back together. The digitizers connection cables are too big. They do not fit properly inside the device, causing a gap where the adhesive won’t make contact with the inside of the iPad. The adhesive is eh, I’ve seen better but I’ve also seen worse. The tools were very helpful, and the entire process was very easy. I just wish the screen worked.Edit** I’ve pinpointed that only the bottom half of the digitizer is damaged. The top half is functioning properly. I’ll still have to replace it again though. Sigh.

As others mentioned: there is something off with the home button, it seems too think, the lower part of the screen is not fitting correctly into the case because of that .. i stuck the adhesive protection underneath my fingernail (ouch !) trying to get it off, and it would have been nice to at least add a link to a manual that resembles this kit ("this is how you get off the bloody adhesive protection" would have been nice as a start), instead of having to go through whatever other manuals are out there.I only just installed it 20 minutes ago, so no clue about how long it will "sort of" work (especially the home button is sketchy) .. but am already not happy with the result ...

The screen is great but it’s a difficult project to replace it. I broke my LED screen trying to replace the touch screen

I did have to use the home key, wish you didn’t lose the Touch ID when you replace the factory button. But I knew that going into it. I think this was the second screen I had put on for my 7 yr olds iPad. Best tip is spend extra time cleaning glass and sticky residue, if the glass doesn’t sit don’t flat it can lead to issues, test fit screen before remove double sided tape. The tape worked great, good adhesion. Very happy with purchase.
