I made a 6gallon batch of wine for a price under $4 a bottle that compares to a $15 to $20 store bought. If you like a full body wine, you can make a 5gallon batch. But I'm enjoy a medium body wine. I add 2lbs of sugar to increase the ABV to 15% to 18%. A starting gravity about 1090+. I take my time, and it takes 6 to 7 weeks for a clear no sediment in the bottom bottle of wine. Some I bottle and some I use mason jars, it just easer. Enjoy.

Time will tell if this is a good product. For now, I have to make this wine without instructions. The label on the box says it is supposed to be sold as a 2 box kit. I ordered and received one box, but the instructions must be in the other box!

My son bought me my first wine making kit back during the Covid shut down as a hobby so I didn't go stir crazy...little did he know at the time that I would need all the equipment to make and bottle...or that it would become an obsession of mine...I have now ordered and made over 50 kits since...for me, each kit ideally makes 2 cases ( 24 x 750ml bottles ) I use slightly less water and let the ABV go to about max...but I am universally told that my wine is as good as any $30 bottle you can buy retail

Unfortunately, this was ordered under the assumption that it was the actual full juice to make the wine with. When box arrived, it was very clear that wasn’t the case. Tried to contact numerous times regarding return but have not been given the courtesy of a response. Very disappointed. I gues this will go out with the trash. Quit3 an expensive lesson.

This is the third time I've purchased this kit. I get compliments from many people on this cab. 13% ABV on the nose, as advertised. If others get less than that, then I suspect either they have substandard fermenting conditions or the yeast wasn't sufficiently activated. I've been home brewing for over 10 years and I don't remember ever having fermentation problems or experiencing significantly lower than expected ABV. The quality of this wine is great. Fruity with just the right amount of tart and dryness. It could use slightly more tannins, but I like my wine more grippy. It is however sufficient to pair with proteins like red meats and pork. Lovely nose of black currant and cherry, violet, honeysuckle and cedar. The cedar was a little bit surprising until I learned that a cedar aroma is common in full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon single varietal and blended wines, such as those of Napa Valley or Bordeaux — particularly the Left Bank appellations.TL;DR: Buy this kit.

First I owned a Bonded Winery so I know a little something about wine making. If yours doesn’t turn out well either your sanitation was weak or you didn’t pay close attention. Now I wondered how these kits turn out. Bought this one (actually 3) and I aged it in a 15 gallon bourbon barrel. I notice these kits always come with EC1118 yeast. Don’t use that. Get some good wine yeast based on the grapes. I also add some Fermaid O which doesn’t come in kit. 6 months later I was shocked at how well it turned out. Everyone that has sampled it loves it. I’m actually thinking of entering it in one of the largest wine competitions in the world. I’m curious how judges would score it.

I recently purchased this wine kit and it exceeded all my expectations. As a novice winemaker (had only brewed beer before), I found the kit incredibly easy to use. Each batch yielded around 28ish bottles of delicious wine, which was a pleasant surprise. To ensure we weren't just biased by our own efforts, we had friends taste the wine. The consensus was unanimous - it was delightful! The true testament to its quality came when we decided to use the wine for our wedding. We made six batches, serving them at our special day and also giving them away as gifts to our guests. The response was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone loved it! This kit not only provided us with great wine but also added a personal touch to our wedding. Highly recommend for anyone looking to create their own wine at home.

This is a wonderful tasting wine, I usually like a dry and this one is kinda in the middle. Great value for the price - only criticism would be there were no bottle labels.
