We have other plushy puppets for our daughter but this one is definitely the highest quality one. She named it "bah bah", and is so funny to watch her play with. Good buy!

As appealing as Folkmanis puppets r, I’ve found only ONE that works well as a puppet, that is the woolly sheep. I love goats snd love how this fella looks, but he wasn’t appealing to me in person and didn’t work as a toy by himself or as a puppet: rough feeling interior snd not a workable fit for my small adult hands. I returned.

What was once a quality puppet is now very cheaply made. I don't even think I'd like this puppet even if I hadn't seen what it was before. Disappointed. It's going back. I DO NOT recommend.

This adorable goat seems very much like a Pygmy Alpine goat in coloring. He has a really nice expression. Only the head and lower jaw are moveable. His body is stuffed, like a plush toy. There's plastic beans in the tips of his ears which gives them some weight and they flop about adorably as you move his head. The mouth is moveable, although it's a little fiddly to get the mouth to open and close easily. An adult can fit one finger in the lower jaw to mobilize the mouth. He's very cuddly and soft. As with many Folkmains (pron. "Folk-Man-Iss") items, it's obvious from holding it that it's a high quality item that's been well designed and fabricated. There's exquisite use of fabric, where the dark grey has white highlights, and the white areas have silver/grey low-lights, giving a very realistic look. His hooves and nose are a shiny faux 'leatherette' type material and he's got a little billy-goat beard and soft velour horns. When you put him down he sits like a flopsie toy, with legs forward. Our item is very much like the pictures. Although, in one of the pictures he's clearly posed - the head actually flops down, unless you stuff him, with socks or something, to keep his head up. I'd say he's great for storytelling, teaching, day-care, pre-school, games and even professional stage use. The opening for one's hand is a good size for both adults and children. Kids from 5 to 50 love him! Highly recommended if you're after a quality goat puppet.

This goat replaced an older one that was smoke damaged. The quality was very poor in comparison, so we sent it back.

I bought this back in 2014 as a departing gift for a favorite teacher who liked goats but could not have one. I was very impressed with the quality after initially being unsure based on the pictures. It is a great gift! In 2017, I got another one to help cope with getting out of the goat business and it is exactly like the 2014 one. There are a couple glue stains on the white fur, but other than that it is in great condition. It has a fluffier face than the product picture, horns are darker, and the mouth does not hang open, but it looks about the same and is the correct size. I am impressed by the realistic markings on this animal as I have raised goats for years and have trouble finding products with acurate markings.

Ok I cannot say enough about how absolutely adorable this puppet is. The little face, the little mouth, the little hooves!! The detail is just amazing and the product is exceptional quality. I gave it to my friends for their one year old's birthday. They own billy goats and just loved having an "indoor" one their kid (pun intended) could play with! Their son has tea parties in his room with his new goat buddy. I can't wait for an excuse to purchase another Folmanis puppet. Anyone with children, or a child at heart would love this little guy.

My son received this a few days ago and has already had such amazing adventures with it! THE SALE PRICE IS AMAZING! He's 2 1/2, sometimes his Dad or myself are the puppeteers and sometimes he is! This little guy is SO SOFT and well made. Very snuggly! It was so easy to clean, not that it had to be, but I did hand wash it with some of my sons Dreft detergent. Dried fast and smells fantastic. This is a must have for your kids puppet collection. We just love the quality and size of Folkmanis puppets. We haven't been disappointed yet and we own 5! We are so in-love with this brand.

This product is absolutely outstanding! I purchased this little guy as a part of my costume as a sheppard for The Bristol Renaissance Faire. You could not believe the response that I got. People could not believe their eyes and had to do a double take to see if he is real. Even from up close. The kids at Faire absolutely adored him and could not stop petting him. So I named him Ruprecht, because the coloring reminds me of the pygmy apline goats. He is a wonderful addition to the Faire. I cannot thank Folkmanis enough for such a wonderful product. Your service is also top rate. Fast & effecient. A+ all around. I look forward to doing business with you in the future. Hope you can do new stuffed animal goats in the future. Ruprecht was so popular at Bristol that he is going to become a regular. lol. Again a thousand times thank you for your great service and products. Highly recommended.

This goat puppet is quality made and overall very nice. The only complaint I have is that the mouth is small and not very mobile. I use this puppet to teach children and, compared to my other Folkmanis puppets, this one takes much more work to use.
