I bought this garden bench/kneeler as it was getting difficult to get up and down while working in my raised beds. This is a great addition to my must have needs. I love this as it is really easy to use, fold and unfold. Really easy to carry it around my backyard and front yard as it is not heavy. It has a right size to kneel and sit on it. It is made of quality materials and is very sturdy. The pad is very comfortable to sit and kneel. The included garden tool bag is really handy and stores all my tools I am using at a given time. It is nicely priced and is highly recommended for anybody who does gardening.

I originally got this to make working a garden or flower bed easier for my wife. Kneeling on the ground is difficult at times. With this item, she can kneel OR sit on a padded surface, whichever she prefers. For most garden work involving planting of bulbs or weeding, this gets used in the kneeling configuration. As the plants grow and get taller, she sometimes switches to the seating position to work or trim the plants.I have used it for myself already. Once, in a kneeling position when trying to remove/replace a heating element on the low side of a hot water heater. Certainly better than kneeling on a cement floor. The tool pouch really comes in handy for these kind of jobs. The pouch won't hold a lot of tools, but it will hold what I need for small jobs around the house. Other times when working on the brakes of the cars, I mostly use it as a seat. I'm a stocky person. I fit in the seat, but there is not a lot of room on it as a seat. For some reason, it feels less sturdy as a seat rather than as a kneeler. I took a star away for that. However, it lets me get the job done. So as long as I don't sit in it all day, it's fine. Sure, I could get a seating device bigger and more sturdy than this, but being able to flip this from seat to kneeler on a single task as needed is a feature. I don't have to manage a separate seat and kneeler with this.Overall, it has a lot of utility for my wife and I. It's durability over time has yet to be determined. But as long as it continues to hold together, fold up, and be able to be hung on the garage wall until needed again, we're going to continue using it as our primary body support when working on kneeling and sitting tasks around the house.

This is my third garden bench purchase over quite a few years. I believe it tops the other two. My first bench was perhaps 20 years ago, and I still have it. It ranks pretty high, but I wanted an additional bench. My second one was short - it is a good bench but because it lacks much length tends to tip over - sometimes when you are on it, not good! This one has the size of my first one but folds up, very convenient. It is sturdy and stable and is easy to flip. It comes with a nice foam cushion and a tool bag. I probably won't use the tool bag at least at the bench because when working outside I constantly flip the bench from kneeling to sitting position. The foam cusion I'll probably keep on the underside to help out with the knees.I did have some trouble getting the legs set properly. It is important to get them lined up and the little pushdown button showing through the hardware at the end. One leg didn't want to line up on one side but worked on the other. The second leg fought to NOT set the pushdown button but with some tugging and pleading it went through. The engineering could be a little more precise, but it's a good bench. When sitting on it, there's a slight give from side to side - but only slight, and I think that is because the bench folds. Very pleased with the purchase! Try it, your knees and back will thank you!!
