This neoprene sheet was exactly what I was after. I'm using this to help dampen the vibrations of my 3D printer and so far it's been working magically. I have a lot let over and will be using it for another 3D printer which is far larger and might even need to purchase an additional roll!

I ordered this neoprene sheet to make some interior padding for the cockpit of a sea kayak. I have not yet finished that job, but the material looks like it will work well. It has a nice, smooth finish and I’d call it medium dense as far as how much pressure it takes to compress it.It’s hard to measure the thickness of a soft material like this, but using a caliper it appears that it may be closer to 0.240 inches thick, versus a true ¼ inch. I can’t be definite, but it could be that this material is a nominal 6mm thick (0.236 inches) versus a true 14 inch. The difference doesn’t matter to me, and since I can’t be sure I’m not going to factor it in my rating.
